    AP Teacher Eligibility Test 2024 Notification, Online Applications, Exam date, Eligibility  

    Online applications are invited for the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET- Feb, 2024) from the candidates aspiring to be Teachers in State Government, MandalParishad, ZillaParishad, Municipality, Private Aided Schools and Private un-aided schools etc., under the control of Andhra Pradesh State for classes I to VIII.

    Those candidates who possess DL.Ed. / B.Ed. / Language Pandit or its equivalent qualifications shown in information bulletin and candidates pursuing final year of the said courses upto the academic year 2023-2024 with requisite percentage of marks obtained as given in information bulletin of APTET can appear for APTET-2024.

    • APTET 2024 will be conducted through Computer Based Test in Paper-I ((A) & (B)) & Paper-II ((A) & (B)).
    • The candidate who intends to be teachers for classes I to V have to appear for Paper-I (A).
    • The candidates intending to be teachers for classes VIto VIII and Language Pandits for VI-VIII have to appear for paper-II (A).
    • The candidate who intends to be teachers for classes I to V in Special Education have to appear for the examination under Paper I (B) and the candidates who intends to be teachers for classes from VI to VIII in respect of Special Education have to appear for paper II(B).

    AP TET 2024 Eligibility Criteria:

    The candidate at the time of applying for APTET-Feb, 2024 should be having the minimum qualifications prescribed for a teacher for category I to V classes (Paper – I A) and for category I to V classes (Paper I B) in respect of Special Education and for classes VI to VIII ( paper-II (A) ) and Paper II B for classes VI to VIII in respect of Special Education Teachers as given below.

    Minimum Qualifications for paper-I A (Classes I to V):

    i. Intermediate/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)

    (or)

    ii. Intermediate/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition norms and procedure), Regulations, 2002

    (or)

    iii. Intermediate/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)

    (or)

    iv. Intermediate/Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 2 year Diploma in Education (Special Education)

    (or)

    v. Graduation and two year diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)

    (or)

    vi. Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)

    vii. Post Graduation with a minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade and three- year integrated B.Ed/M.Ed.

    Minimum Qualifications for paper-I B (Classes I to V ) (Special Schools): RCI Qualifications Elementary:-

    Intermediate/ Senior Secondary and two year D.Ed. Special Education in any of the category of disability

    Diploma in Community Based Rehabilitation (DCBR) with 6 months Certificate course in Education of Children with Special Needs.

    Diploma in Multi Rehabilitation Worker (MRW) with 06 months Certificate course in Education of Children with Special Needs.

    Junior Diploma in Teaching the Deaf.

    Primary level Teacher Training course in Visual Impairment.

    Diploma in Vocational Rehabilitation – Mental Retardation (DVR-MR) / Diploma in Vocational Training and Employment – Mental Retardation (DVTE-MR) with 06 months Certificate course in Education of Children with Special Needs.

    Diploma in Hearing Language and Speech (DHLS) with 06 months Certificate course in Education of Children with Special Needs.

    Minimum Qualifications for TET Paper II-A (Classes VI-VIII)( Regular Schools):

    Mathematics and Science Teachers/Social Studies Teachers/Language Teachers

    ii. Graduation with at least 45% marks and 1 year Bachelor of Education in accordance with the NCTE recognition norms and procedure Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.

    Note 1:- Minimum percentage of marks in graduation shall not be applicable to those incumbents who had already taken admission to the Bachelor of Education or Bachelor of Elementary Education or equivalent course prior to the 29th July, 2011.

    Note 2:- Relaxation up to 5% in the qualifying marks allowed to the SC/ST/ BC/PH candidates.”

    Language Teachers (Classes VI to VIII):

    Graduation with Language concerned as one of the Optional Subjects (or) Bachelor of Oriental Language (or its equivalent) (or) Graduation in Literature (or) Post Graduation in Language concerned and Language Pandit Training Certificate/ B.Ed with Language concerned as one of the Methodologies, in respect of Language Teachers.

    AP TET 2024 EXAMINATION CENTERS:

    The APTET 2024 shall be conducted ‘ONLINE’ in the centers in various districts in Andhra Pradesh at Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai and Odissa on the above mentioned dates  . A window will be opened to the Candidates to opt the DISTRICT and session in the available centers indicated in the web. If once the session capacity of the centers is exhausted then the candidate should choose another date and another session at available districts. If the candidate failed to opt Examination centre in the prescribed date mentioned above, department will randomly allot the examination centre in the available examination centres.

    Way to fill the Andhra Pradesh TET Application Form 2024

    Applicants who are curious to apply online for AP TET Registration Form 2024 they must know that only eligible applicants can apply for this examination. If you meet all the eligibility conditions of the TET examination then you can apply through online mode by submitting the online application form. With the help of following steps, you can easily apply for the TET examination.

    1. Willing candidates need to browse the official website of Commissioner of School Education Andhra Pradesh Teacher Recruitment Board the Higher Education Board of Andhra Pradesh that is aptet.cgg.gov.in.
    2. Then go to the homepage and find out AP TET Application Form 2024 Notification link.
    3. After that, open the notification in the next web page and Read the notification very carefully before applying for the post and if you are eligible then click on an apply online tab.
    4. Now fill all asked details in the AP TET Application Form 2024.
    5. Attach the all required credential scanned copies with the application form.
    6. Upload passport size photograph and signature on it.
    7. Remit the application form fee.
    8. Then, Click on the submit button
    9. At last, take the printout copy of the complete application form and keep it safe for further use.

    Pass Criteria in AP TET 2024 :

    APTET–Feb, 2024 results will be declared in the Last week of September, 2024. The criteria for considering pass in APTET is as follows:

    ii) BC 50% Marks and above
    iii) SC/ ST/ Differently abled (PH) & Ex-servicemen 40% Marks and above

     Validity period of AP TET Certificate / Marks Memo:

    The Marks Memo/Certificate of APTET–Feb, 2024 shall be made available on APTET website only. There is no restriction on the number of attempts and a person can take attend any number of times for acquiring APTET Certificate. A person who has qualified APTET may also appear again for improving his/her score. In accordance with the NCTE guidelines the APTET certificate shall be valid for life time in accordance with NCTE guidelines dated:
    09.06.2021 as amended by the Government in G.O.Ms.No.69, Dated: 25.10.2021. The validity of TET qualifying certificate acquired prior to 09.06.2021 shall also valid for life time as per G.O.Ms.No.68, Dated: 25.10.2021.

    Weightage for APTET Scores:

    A 20% Weightage to TET scores shall be provided in the Teacher Recruitment of the State Government, balance 80% weightage will be given for Written Test in Teacher Recruitment Test (TRT) based on which selection lists shall be prepared. However, mere qualifying the TET would not confer a right on any person for recruitment/ employment as it is only one of the eligibility criteria for Teacher appointment.

    Fee and submission of Application Online: 

    The fee towards submission of application online and for the conduct of computer based TET examination is Rs.500.00. for each Paper. If the candidate desires to appear for all papers he/she has to pay an amount of Rs.500/- for each paper separately. Candidates shall pay the fee through payment Gateway between 15.06.2024 to 15.07.2024 and submit online application at the APTET websitehttp://cse.ap.gov.in between 16 .06.2024 to 16 .07.2024.

    Candidates can download their Hall Tickets from the website athttp://cse.ap.gov.infrom 25.07.2024 onwards. In case of any candidate could not download the Hall ticket he/ she should contact the Joint Director, TET of Commissioner of School Education, Anjaneya Towers, Ibrahimpatnam between 10.00 AM to 5.30 PM on all working hours in person only giving details of the journal number of the fee paid, reference number of the application submitted, a copy of the printout of the Application form and one photograph (same photograph as pasted on the application form).
    Request for issue of duplicate Hall Ticket will not be entertained after the examination in any case.
