NMMS Community Wise List Of Candidates Check List For Verification National Means Cum Merit Scholarship Scheme Examination – 2023 

Andhra Pradesh :: National Means Cum Merit Scholarship Scheme Examination – December 2023 Community Wise List Of Selected Candidates For Award Of Scholarships:

Director of Government Examinations, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad has been issued National Means Cum Merit Scholarship (NMMS) 2023-24 Scholarships Examinations notification  . NMMS is a centrally sponsored Scholarship scheme for meritorious students belong to economically weaker sections to continue their studies at secondary stage to pause the dropout rate after VIII Class.

NMMS Scholarship Amount:
The selected pupils will receive a sum of Rs. 12000/- per annum . Selected students should open a joint account with their parents in any SBI(State Bank of India) / Nationalized Banks with core banking facility/ESC facility. The Ministry for Human Resource Development, New Delhi will sanction the scholarships and adjust to such list to the SBI, New Delhi for disbursement of scholarships to the awardees. The candidate will get the scholarship amount through SBI.

State Level National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme Exam-2024

It is hereby notified that the State Level National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme Examination for class VIII conducted on 03-12-2023 (Sunday) from 10.00 AM to 01.00 PM in Telugu/ Hindi/ Urdu/ English media at all Revenue Divisional Head Quarters of 13 Districts in the State.  The Application Forms, Nominal Rolls, Head Master Instructions and due dates may be downloaded from the web site “www.bseap.org”

NOTE:Qualifying Marks:

SC & ST Categories – 32% each paper i.e., 29 Marks
OC, BC & PH Categories – 40% each paper i.e., 36 Marks
Both papers should be qualified.

The following are due dates for remittance of examination fee and for submission of applications:

 

1. Last date for upload  the Candidates application by the
Head Masters of the Schools concerned.		  
2. Last date for Payment of fee  
3. Last Date for submission of filled application forms along with DDs
and  other enclosures in the O/o The DEO concerned by the
School HM’s.		  
4. Last date for submission of Nominal Rolls along with fee receipts
by the concerned DEO’s to 0/o. the Director of Government
 Examinations.AP.Hyd.		          
 

Eligibility:   A candidate who has/is

(i) Scored at least 55% of marks in case of OC/BC and 50% of marks in case of SC/ST/PH or equivalent grade i.e., B+ for all categories in class VII Examination studied during the year 2022-23
(ii) Studying in ZP/Government /Local Body /Government aided schools Modal Schools which have no residential facility only can apply. Candidates from Modal Schools who have residential facility are not eligible for applying of NMMSE. Head Masters concerned will be held responsible in this matter. 
(iii) Whose parental annual income (both Parents put together) is below Rs.1,50,000/- from all sources for which candidates have to produce latest original Annual Income Certificate issued by the MRO, in case of Private employee and certificate issued by the employer in case of Government employee. The students studying VIII class in Telangana Residential High Schools, Telangana Social Welfare Residential Schools,Telangana Tribal Welfare Residential High Schools, Government Ashram High Schools and Kasturba Residential Schools, Model schools with residential facility, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas, Kendriya Vidyalayas and in Private unaided Schools are not eligible to  appear for the Examination. 
(iv) Candidate has also to submit the caste certificate (issued by the MRO) to the Headmaster in case of BC/SC/ST/ and Medical certificates issued by District Medical board in case of PHC.
 (v) Candidate has also to submit the Original VII class Pass Memo of Marks to the Headmaster.


NMMS Reservation:
As per the State Norms including 3% reservation for P.H candidates. For S.C 15%; S.T 6%; B.C-A 7%; B.C-B 10%; B.C-C 1%; B.C-D 7%, regarding BC-E implementation in NMMS Examination will be considered after receipt of clarification from the government.

Examination fee is : Rs.100/- for OC/BC students & Rs. 50/- for SC/ST/PH students.

The examination fee has to be paid through SBI Collect Only (Follow User Guide )

Pattern of Examination
1.  Mental Ability Test (M.A.T) : 90 marks (multiple choice questions)
2. Scholastic Ability Test (S.A.T) : 90 marks covering social science, science and mathematics of class VII & VIII. Each question carry one mark
3. Qualifying Percentage in Exam:
The percentage of qualifying is 40% to the general candidates, for BC 35%. In the case of SC/ST/PH the qualifying percentage is 25%. Examination Fee
