KV Schools PGT TGT PRT Librarians Recruitment 2019-20
Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS), an Autonomous Organization under the Ministry of Human Resource Development MHRD, Government of India. In latest employment notification, the KVS institute announces job vacancies for various teaching staff posts include Principal, Vice Principal, PGTs, TGTs, Librarian and PRTs in Kendriya Vidyalayas across India to fill 8339 vacancies. Kendriya Vidyalaya Recruitment Notification 2019-20  Important Dates
Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangahan, KVS had extended the last date to apply for KVS Recruitment 2019-20 for as many as 8,339 teaching and non-teaching posts. Along with the extension of the last date, KVS has also revised the eligibility criteria for the posts of PRT and TGTs. As per the earlier mandate, PRT and TGTs are required to be CTET qualified. However, as a onetime measure, KVS has allowed candidates who have applied for CTET 2019-20 to apply for the KVS Recruitment 2019-20 as well.

Last date for KVS Recruitment 2019-20 was extended from September 13 to September 23. The eligibility criteria for PRTs and TGTs has been revised to include CTET 2019-20 applicants.


Candidates are required to Apply Online through KVS website www.kvsangathan.nic.in. No other mean/mode of submission of applications will be accepted. The recruitment test will be conducted through offline mode.

Under KVS Principal, Graduate Teacher 2019-20 Job Notification, candidates completed Degree/PG/PH.D. is required to apply.  On basis of recruitment test through offline mode applicant for Kendriya Vidyalayas teaching staff posts across India will be finalized on merit.

Selected candidates will be recruited with a salary in pay scale of Rs.35,400 to Rs.2,09,200 per month.

Eligibility Criteria For KVS 2019-20 Teaching Staff Posts:

Age Limit:
As on 30.09.2019
Minimum age for Principal applicants is 35 years, maximum age is 50 years.
Minimum age for vice-principal applicants is 35 years and maximum age is 45 years.
Maximum age for PGT applicants is 40 years.
Maximum age for TGT, Librarian posts applicants is 35 years.
Age relaxation to SC/ST/OBC/PH & Ex-Servicemen category will be given as per Govt. of India Rules.

Selection Process:
On basis of recruitment test through oKendriya Vidyalaya Teacher Jobs 2019-20 Eligibility Criteria
KVS Recruitment Age Limit (as on cutoff date – 30.09.2019 ):
The upper age limit post wise mentioned below:-

PGT – Maximum 40 years
TGT & Librarian – Maximum 35 years
Primary Teacher – Maximum 30 years
Principal – Minimum 35 years to Maximum 50 years
Vice Principal – Minimum 35 years to Maximum 45 years

Age relaxation will be applicable for reserved categories such as SC/ST (05 years), OBC (03 years) and Women (10 years). Age relaxation to the Ex-servicemen is applicable as per Govt norms.

KVS PGT TGT PRT Posts Educational Qualifications: Intrigued contestants must have following qualifications for their desired post from a Govt approved University or Institute.

Principal Posts:-

  1. Master’s Degree (mini 45% marks) with B.Ed or its equivalent
  2. Relevant experience

Vice-Principal Posts:-
Master’s Degree (mini 45% marks) OR PG Degree

Post Graduate Teacher Posts:-

  1. 02 years PG (Post Graduate) M.Sc. Course OR Master’s Degree (mini 50% marks) in aggregate in relevant subjects.
  2. B.Ed or equivalent degree
  3. Proficiency in teaching in Hindi & English Medium
  4. BE/ B.Tech
  5. MCA/ M.Sc.
  6. ’B’ & ‘C’ Level DOEACC (mini 50% marks)

Trained Graduate Teacher Posts:-

  1. 04 years Integrated Degree Course with at least 50% marks OR Bachelor Degree (mini 50% marks) in the concerned subjects.
  2. Passed in CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) Paper-II with B.Ed
  3. Diploma in relevant subjects
  4. Computer Knowledge

Primary Teacher Posts:-

  1. Senior Secondary School Certificate with 50% marks or Intermediate (10+2) with 50% marks or its equivalent
  2. CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) pass
  3. Bachelor’s Degree in Music
  4. Computer Applications Knowledge

Librarian Posts:-

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science
  2. Graduate with 01 year Diploma in Library Science
  3. Working Knowledge of English & Hindi
