It aims at developing understanding and competencies required by practicing teachers for effective teaching-learning process at the secondary stage. The Programme is essentially a judicious mix of theoretical and practical courses to develop the practicing teacher‟s knowledge, skills, understanding and attitudes. B.Ed Course Tution Fee:

Rs.25, 000/- for the entire program of two years. The total fee has to be paid at the time of admission in single payment.

Duration of BEd Program & Medium of Instruction:

1. Minimum period to complete the programme from the date of registration: 2 years

2. Maximum period to complete the programme from the date of registration: 6 years

The medium of instruction is Telugu. A student should write the answers in Year-end- Examination, Assignments and Records, Teaching Practice and Practical Lesson Records only in Telugu.

Required Certificates to be submitted at the time of Admissions:

(To be submit at the time of Admission Counselling): The service certificate has to be signed by the employer concerned in case of applicants belonging to Teachers, Vidya volunteers working in State Govt. / Local Bodies/ Aided/Private recognized Schools the service certificate has to be signed by the Head of the Institution and counter signed by the MEO. In Case of others the concerned Employer should counter signed.

Original Certificates to be submitted at the time of Admissions:

1. Degree Provisional Certificate and Year wise Marks Memos

2. Date of Birth Certificate / SSC Certificate

3. Service certificate as on date of the admission counselling.

4. Integrated Caste Certificate, if applicable

5. Medical Board Certificate (for PH candidates)

Apart from general qualifications and conditions prescribed, the candidates should have completed NCTE recognised Teacher Education Programme through Face-to-Face Mode (i.e. who have passed TTC/D.Ed./D.El.Ed./B.El.Ed./TPT/HPT/UPT/B.P.Ed./D.P.Ed. only are eligible to seek Admission into B.Ed.
