    AP POLYCET 2023 Notification has released by the AP State Board of Technical Education and Training (SBTET) for the academic year 2023-24.  Andhra Pradesh Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (AP Polycet 2023) is conducted by the State Board of Technical Education & Training, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad. It is a state level entrance exam to screen the students for providing admission in the state. AP Polycet acts as a gateway for admission into various engineering and non-engineering Diploma courses.     AP POLYCET  Exam Schedule , Eligibility , Exam date, applications 2023:

    AP Polycet 2023 Notification has been released: The State Board of Technical Education and Training, Andhra Pradesh, Vijayawada will conduct “Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (POLYCET)” for the candidates seeking Admission in to all Diploma Courses in Engineering / Non Engineering / Technology offered at Polytechnics / Institutions (including Aided and Unaided Private Polytechnics / Institutions running as 2nd shift in Pvt. Engineering Colleges) in Andhra Pradesh State for the Academic year 2023-24.

    Eligibility To Appear AP POLYCET-2023 

    1. Candidates shall be an Indian National.
    2. Candidates should belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh.
    3. Candidates who have passed SSC or its equivalent and recognized by the Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh/AP, Hyderabad are eligible.
    4. The candidates who have compartmentally passed or appearing for SSC are also eligible to apply. However, they must have passed in all the subjects before seeking admission.
    5. Candidates belonging to NIOS/CBSE/ICSE/ other examinations recognized as equivalent to SSC by A.P. govt should have passed all the subjects including Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry with minimum of 35% marks in each subject.
    6. Candidates who appeared or are appearing for SSC or equivalent examination being held in March/April, and whose results are yet to be declared can also appear for AP Polycet 2023.

    How To Apply AP POLYCET 2023:

    AP Polycet 2023 Application Form: State Board of Technical Education and Training, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad has made arrangements to file online applications at various AP online/TS Online, Helpline centres/ through payment gate way. The detailed list of these centres is available at http://sbtetap.gov.in website. In order to file application through these centers a filing fee of Rs.400/- (Rupees Four hundred only) (Excluding Application Cost) has to be paid to the operator by the candidate.
     
    Application Fee :
    For OC / BC Candidates appearing for POLYCET 2023 : Rs. 400/-
    For SC / ST Candidates appearing for POLYCET 2023 : Rs. 100/
     
    AP Polycet 2023 Admit Card:

    The candidates can download the admit card from the official portal (link is given above). AP Polycet admit card will contain the information like name of the candidate, roll number of the candidate, date of birth and exam venue etc. Candidates have to complete the application process to get the hall ticket.

    AP Polycet Exam Pattern
    The question paper will come from class X level. The exam pattern is discussed below.
    Mode: paper & pencil based test
    No. of Questions: There will be 120 Multiple choice  questions from class X Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and English.
    Duration: The duration of the exam will be two hours.
    Marking Scheme: All questions will carry equal marks.
    Negative marking: No negative marking in the question paper

    Marks Distribution: 

    Subjects: Mathematics: 50 Questions
    Physics: 40 Questions
    Chemistry: 30 Questions

    AP Polycet 2023 Counselling -Documents required for Counselling:

    The AP Polycet counselling will be notified in all leading newspapers after declaration of the results. The candidates can opt for any course of polytechnic in order of priority and the allotment shall be made for his/her best preferred choice based on the merit list. The counselling will be held in the month of June/ July tentatively. The following documents are required for the counselling. SSC Marksheet, SSC Marksheet, AP Polycet 2023 Hall Ticket, AP Polycet 2023 Rank Card/ Score Card, Transfer Certificate, Category Certificate, Domicile Certificate, Passport size photographs.

    Instructions for Candidates:
    1. The candidates of Andhra Pradesh intend to seek admission in to the courses offered in State wide institution of Telangana State, at the ratio of 42:36:22 in AU/OU/SVU respectively and seek admission under 15% unreserved quota offered in Telangana State shall appear for POLYCET conducted by Telangana.
    2. Please note that only one Hall ticket will be generated against an APPLICATION FORM.
    3. Fill the SSC Hall ticket Number, Year of Pass and Date of Birth on the application by verifying your SSC Hall ticket /SSC Certificate or its equivalent, as the candidate data is taken from SSC database.
    4. The basic data pertaining to the candidates of other Boards is not available in the data base. The candidate has to visit any of the centres along with his photo for filing online application.
