    TS EdCET 2024 Notification, Exam Date, Eligibility, Fee, Apply Online

    TS EdCET 2024 Notification and Schedule has been released on its B.Ed CET official website, https://edcet.tsche.ac.in/ by the Telangana State Government, TSCHE and MG University EdCET officials. Candidates who are interested to apply for the Bachelor of Education Common Entrance Test (TS EdCET) can check details and submit the online application on its registration web portal. This entrance test for entry into 2 (Two) year Bachelor of Education(B.Ed) Regular Course in the Colleges of Education in Telangana State for the academic year 2024.

    The notification for TS EdCET 2024 was released by the Telangana State Council of Higher Education on 4th March 2024. Candidates who want to get admission in 2 years BEd in any college of Telangana can appear for this exam by submitting their application on or before 10th May 2024 without  late fee.

    TS EdCET 2024 Notification for Admission into B.Ed (Two Years) regular course 2024-25 

    A Common Entrance Test, designated as Telangana State Education Common Entrance Test-2024 (TS Ed.CET-2024) will be conducted by Mahatma Gandhi University, Nalgonda on behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education for admission in to B.Ed (Two years) Regular Course in the Colleges of Education in Telangana State for the academic year 2024-2025.

    Eligible candidates should submit their application ONLINE mode only from 06-03-2024. Application registration fee of Rs. 750/- (Rs.550/- for SC/ST/ PH) should be paid at TS Online /AP Online/ through Payment Gateway.     TS EdCET 2024 Notification, Exam dates, Online applications:

    Eligibility to Appear for TS Ed.CET-2024.
    Candidates satisfying the following requirements shall be eligible to appear for Ed.CET-2024.
    (i) The Candidates should be Indian Nationals.
    (ii) The Candidates should satisfy Local/Non-Local status requirements as laid down in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) Order 1974 as subsequently amended.
     
     Age limit:
    The candidate should have completed the age of 19 years as on 1st July of the year in which notification is issued. There shall be no upper age limit.
     
     
     

    Educational Qualifications for TS Edcet 2024

     Candidates should have passed or appeared for qualifying examination

    (a) In any Bachelors Degree i.e., B.A, B.Com, B.Sc, B.Sc (Home Science), BCA, BBM/BBA or in the Masters Degree or any other qualification equivalent thereto., securing at least 50% aggregate marks.

    (b) Bachelors in Engineering or Technology with Science and Mathematics with 50% aggregate marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto.

    (c) However, for candidates belonging to the reserved categories viz., SC/ ST/ BC and Physically Challenged categories should have secured 40% Marks in the qualifying examination.

    (d) The candidates who are appearing for the final year degree examination are also eligible to appear for TS Ed.CET-2024.

    (e) Note: As per the GO MS No:13 dated. 27/5/2017, the Candidates possessing MBBS/ BSC (AG) / BVSC/ BHMT/ B.Pharm and such other professional and job oriented degree courses Viz., LLB are not eligible for admission into B.Ed Course.

    (f) Candidates possessing a Master Degree without having undertaken undergraduate study are not eligible for admission.
