Telangana New DA GO 2026 – DA Increased to 40.04% from July 2024

Telangana New DA GO 2026: The Government of Telangana has sanctioned the enhanced Dearness Allowance (DA) to State Government employees and teachers, increasing the DA from 33.67% to 40.04% of Basic Pay with effect from 01-07-2024. The total enhancement is 6.37 percentage points, comprising 3.64% January 2024 DA + 2.73% July 2024 DA.

As per the latest Telangana Govt Order  Dearness Allowance (DA) sanctioned to the employees of Government of Telangana from 33.67% of basic pay to 40.04% of basic pay from 1st JULY,2024.

• Old DA is 33.67% (As per the GO.02)
• New sanctioned DA is 40.04% As per the New GO
• Enhanced DA is6.37%  
• DA enhanced from 01.07.2024
• DA Arrears for GPF A/C’s : 1st Jan, 2024 to 30th of Sept 2026 (GPF Adjustment)
• DA Arrears CPS/ PRAN A/C’s: 01-01- 2024 to 30-09-2026 (90% of DA arrears cash )  
• Cash from: from 1st Oct, 2026 payable on 1st of Nov, 2026

ARREARS FOR GPF EMPLOYEES

The Dearness Allowance at the revised rate sanctioned shall be paid with the salary  payable on 1st of February, 2026. The arrears on account of revision of Dearness Allowance  shall be credited to the General Provident Fund Account of the respective employees.

ARREARS FOR CPS EMPLOYEES
In respect of the employees who were appointed to Government service on or after 01.09.2004 and are governed by the Contributory Pension Scheme (CPS), 10% of the Dearness Allowance arrears shall be claimed and credited to PRAN accounts of the individuals along with the Government share as per the existing orders. The remaining 90% of Dearness Allowance arrears shall be paid
