The notification for recruitment of more than 1 lakh Level 1 posts was released by Railway Recruitment Boards. Railway Recruitment Cells (RRCs) invite ONLINE applications from eligible candidates for vacancies for the posts of  LEVEL-1 Posts like Track Maintainer Grade IV, Helper/Assistant in various technical departments (Electrical, Engineering, Mechanical and S&T departments), Assistant Pointsman, and level-1 posts in other departments. The opening date of registration of online applications is 12.03.2019 – RRC- 01/2019; in various Zonal Railways and Production Units of Indian Railways. There are 18 Railway Recruitment Cell situated in different parts of India such as Northern Railway, North Central Railway, North Eastern Railway, Central Railway, Eastern Railway, East Coast Railway, East Central Railway,Northeast Frontier Railway etc. Candidates can apply through the direct link given in this article.

RRB RRC CEN 01/2019 Recruitment 2019: Application begins for RRB Recruitment for Group D Level 1 posts will to fill 1 lakh vacancies. Here are the steps to follow to apply online. The Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC) has started the application process for CEN 01/2019 on its official websites. There are a total of 103769 vacancies for RRB level-1 post that will be filled through this recruitment process.The notification for RRB Group D Level-1 post was uploaded. The last date to apply is April 12, 2019. Candidates are advised to apply online from the official RRB regional websites only.

Last date to deposit the application fee is April 23 through online payment while for those who are paying through SBI challan or post office, they should pay it before April 18, 1 pm. The final form submission should be done by April 26. The tentative exam date is September- October 2019.

A total of 1,03,769 vacancies have been notified. Examination Fee :
1. For all candidates except the fee concession categories mentioned below at SI. No 2. Out of this fee of Rs 500/- an amount of Rs 400/- shall be refunded duly deducting bank charges, on appearing in 1st Stage CBT Rs 500/-
2 For candidates belonging to SC/ST/ Ex-Servicemen/ PwBDs / Female /Transgender / Minorities / Economically Backward Class. This fee of Rs 250/- shall be refunded duly deducting bank charges as applicable on appearing in 1st Stage CBT.: Rs 250/-

Step 4: Click on ‘register’ if you are a new user. Click on sign in if you already have an ID.

Step 5: Fill in the required details in the application form.

Step 6: Upload a scanned picture of yours and your signature.

RRB Recruitment 2019: Exam Pattern
For all the notified posts under CEN 01/2019, candidates will have questions related to general awareness, maths and general intelligence and reasoning for a total of 100 marks. There will be negative marking and 1/3 mark shall be deducted for each wrong answer.

The exam will be of 90 minutes and 100 questions will be asked. 25 questions from each, general science and mathematics will be asked including 30 from general intelligence and reasoning and 20 from general awareness and current affairs will be asked.

Eligibility for Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
Based on the merit of the candidates in the CBT, candidates shall be called for PET Three times the community wise total vacancy of the Posts notified against RRBs/RRCs. However, Railways reserve the right to increase/decrease this ratio as required to ensure availability of adequate/reasonable number of candidates for all the notified posts. Passing Physical Efficiency Test (PET) is mandatory and the same will be qualifying in nature. The criterion for PET is as under:

Male Candidates: Should be able to lift and carry 35 Kg of weight for a distance of 100 metres in 2 minutes in one chance without putting the weight down ; and Should be able to run for a distance of 1000 metres in 4 minutes and 15 seconds in one chance.

Female Candidates: Should be able to lift and carry 20 Kg of weight for a distance of 100 metres in 2 minutes in one chance without putting the weight down; and Should be able to run for a distance of 1000 metres in 5 minutes and 40 seconds in one chance.
