In the circumstances reported by the Director of School Education, TS., Hyderabad , Government after careful examination of the matter, hereby approve Academic Calendar for 2025-26 as detailed below.

While communicating herewith, a copy of the Govt. Memo. read above, all the Heads of the Departments, Regional Joint Directors of School Education, Hyderabad Sr Warangal and all the District Educational Officers in the state are requested to take necessary action in the matter, accordingly.

The attention of the Director of School Education, Telangana, Hyderabad in the reference cited, she is informed that, the Academic Calendar for Classes I to X for the year 2025-26 as approved by the Government is appended herewith as Annexure.

ACADEMIC CALENDAR FOR 2025-26(For classes I to X)
SCHEDULE OF ACTIVITIES 2025-2026
- Date of reopening of schools after summer vacation: 12.06.2025
- The last working day for the academic year: 23.04.2026 (230 working days)
- Summer vacation: 24.04.2026 to 11.06.2026
- Syllabus distribution for A.Y. 2025-26: The syllabus for all subjects for class X shall be completed by 10.01.2026 and conduct revision classes and pre-final exams before commencement of SSC Board Examination.
- Syllabus for classes I to IX shall be completed by 28.02.2026. The revision and remedial teaching and preparation for SA2 exam will be during the month of March, 2026.
- Yoga and Meditation are to be conducted daily in school Assembly or after Assembly in the class room. 5 minutes shall be allocated for this activity.
