Educational Qualifications & Eligibility:
A Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture (relaxable only in the case of in-service Teachers of ANGRAU). Master’s degree in concerned discipline with at least 55% marks (or) any equivalent grade. Good academic record with a Ph.D. degree in the concerned/ allied/ relevant disciplines. Experience not less than eight years in the cadre of Assistant Professor or equivalent cadre.
Candidates should have qualified in National Eligibility Test (NET) in subject concerned along with one publication in NAAS rated referred journal. NET can be exempted for the candidates holding Ph.D degree.
How to Apply:
1. Eligible and interested candidates can send duly filled-in application forms five (5) sets (Spiral/ Book binding) together with attested copies of certificates etc., and a Demand Draft should reach the Registrar, Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University, Admn. Camp Office, Vijaya Durga Towers, MG Inner Ring Road, Guntur – 522509 on or before
2. The application form can be downloaded from the University website.
3. Those who wish to apply for more than one post should submit filled in application separately for each post along with the prescribed fee for each post.
4. Applications received, without attested copies of Certificates in support of the qualifications, experience prescribed etc., shall be rejected.
Registration fee through a Demand Draft:
Rs. 1000/- (in case of SC/ST candidates the fees is Rs.500/-) drawn on any Nationalized Bank in favour of “COMPTROLLER, ANGRAU, GUNTUR” payble at Guntur must be enclosed. The application not accompanied by the Crossed DD will not be considered.
DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS TO THE CANDIDATES:
Applications in the prescribed form are invited for the following vacancies in the University so as to reach the Registrar of the University on or before candidate should possess the prescribed qualifications as on the last date of application and should have qualified (himself/herself) in the National Eligibility Test (NET) in the subject concerned along with one publication in NAAS rated referred journal for the post of Assistant Professor cadre. The NET can be exempted for the candidates holding Ph.D degree, provided it has been done with course work as prescribed by the UGC Regulations 2009 and the candidate has atleast two full length publications having a NAAS rating not less than 4 on the physically and visually handicapped persons for the post of Assistant Professor is allowed.
