Eligibility Criteria for PRT, TGT, PGT and Other Teacher Posts


Post Graduate Teachers (PGT) : Master’s Degree from a recognised University with at least 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA (obtained by conversion to percentage in accordance with the method of conversion of corresponding University/ institution’s norms) in the following subject.

OR 
Two years Integrated Post Graduate Course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the following subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA (obtained by conversion to percentage in accordance with the method of conversion of corresponding University/ institution’s norms).

OR
Post Graduate degree in the following subjects with atleast 50% marks in aggregate or its equivalent CGPA (obtained by conversion to percentage in accordance with the method of conversion of corresponding University/ institution’s norms) from a recognized university and B.A.Ed. / B.Sc.Ed. from a recognized institute. B. Ed or equivalent degree from a recognized university


Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) : 
Three years Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised University with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (obtained by conversion to percentage in accordance with the method of conversion of corresponding University/Institution’s norms) in the concerned subjects/ combination of subjects and as well as in aggregate.
OR
Four years integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (obtained by conversion to percentage in accordance with the method of conversion of corresponding University/ Institution’s norms) in the concerned subjects/ combination of subjects as well as in aggregate.

AND
Pass in central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) Paper –II, conducted by CBSE in accordance with the  guidelines framed by the NCTE for the purpose

Primary Teacher ( PRT) :
 Pass in Senior Secondary/ Higher Secondary School Certificate Test or Intermediate or its equivalent with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA with English  as  subject  in  +2  level  and  two  years  Diploma  in  Elementary  Education
(D.El.Ed) from recognized Institution.
OR
Pass in Senior Secondary / Higher Secondary School Certificate Test or Intermediate or its equivalent with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA in aggregate with English as subject in +2 level and four years Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) from recognized Institution.
OR
Pass in Senior Secondary / Higher Secondary School Certificate Test or Intermediate or its equivalent with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA in aggregate with English as subject in +2 level and two years Diploma in Education
(D.Ed.) from recognized Institution.
OR
Graduation in any subject with at least 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA and Bachelor’s of Education (B.Ed.) However such candidates have to mandatorily undergo a six month Bridge Course in Elementary Education recognized by the NCTE within two years of their appointment as Primary Teacher.

Qualified  in  the  Central  Teacher  Eligibility  Test  (Paper-I)  conducted  by  CBSE.
Candidate with B.Ed. and qualified in Central Teacher Eligibility Test (Paper-II) shall also be eligible.

Selection Process for PRT, TGT, PGT and Other Teacher Posts
The selection will be done through written test and skill test.

How to Apply for AEES Jobs 2019
1. The Eligible candidates can apply for the post through AEES Official Website on or before 20 July 2019.
2. Those who fulfill all the eligibility criteria may apply online through AEES recruitment portal (https://aees.mahaonline.gov.in).
3. No other means/mode of application will be accepted.
4. Exemption from paying of application fee will automatically appear on the screen whenever the exemption category is entered in the relevant place of the application  form.
5. Candidates  who  are  exempted  from  payment  of  application  fee should mention the category at relevant place in online application form.
