Age concession of five (5) years to SC/ST’s up to 31st May, 2021 in TS Direct Recruitments. Telangana State and Subordinate Service Rules, 1996  Amendment Orders. The age concession in favour of Scheduled Castes / Scheduled Tribes will be in force up to 31st May, 2021. TS Direct Recruitments SC, ST’s  Five (5) years Age Concession upto 31.05.2021, TS Govt is providing age concession in Direct Recruitment to Public Service in favour of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes. The upper age limit is raised by five (5) years to the candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes category from time to time.Government direct that the upper age concession of five (5) years shall be allowed, beyond 31.05.2016, up to 31.05.2021. Scheduled Castes Development Department – Age Concession in favour of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes for the purpose of Direct Recruitment beyond 31.05.2016 upto 31.05.2021.

Order:
In the G.O.2nd  read above, orders have been issued, allowing the upper age concession of five (5) years beyond 31.5.2016 and up to 31.5.2021, in favour of the candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes in Direct Recruitment to public service, over and above the age limit prescribed in the Telangana State and Subordinate Service Rules / Special Rules, specifying that necessary amendments will be made to the Telangana State and Subordinate Service Rules.

2. Accordingly, the following notification will be published in the Telangana Gazette Extraordinary dated 11.01.2017.

In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of Constitution of India and of all other powers hereunto enabling, the Governor of Telangana, hereby makes the following amendment to the Telangana State and Subordinate Service Rules, 1996, issued in G.O.Ms.No.436, General Administration (Services-D) Department, dated the 15th  October, 1996, read with G.O.Ms.No.196, General Administration (Services-D) Department, dated the 28th May, 2016 and published in Part-I Extraordinary Issue of the Telangana Gazette No.97, dated the 28th May, 2016:-

In the said rules, in rule 12, in sub-rule (1), in clause (b), in sub-clause (i), for the existing 1st NB, the following shall be substituted, namely:-

“NB: The age concession in favour of Scheduled Castes / Scheduled Tribes will be in force up to 31st May, 2021”.
