The Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test conducted by Department of School Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh in all 13 Districts of the State through a Computer Based Test. The objective is to ensure National Standards and benchmark of Teacher quality in the recruitment process in accordance with the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). AP Govt is planning to release the DSC 2018 Notification very soon. All the TET qualified candidates are waiting for this notification. They can use this material to prepare the DSC for the post of SGT/SA.

Andhra Pradesh Government is going to issue Notification for DSC 2018 after anouncing the AP TET 2018 Results. School Education Department of Andhra Pradesh has to give post wise Vacancy Details to APPSC as HRD Minister Sri Ganta Srinivasa Rao have already revealed that Teachers Recruitment Process in AP will be taken up by Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission APPSC. Post wise Syllabus and Exam Pattern decided by the recruitment authority.

Andhra Pradesh State government has decided to conduct a separate examination for conducting DSC examinations. Accordingly sources said that the an old format may consist 160 questions carrying one mark each.

DSC for SGTs includes General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Telugu, English, 1 to 8 classes Maths, Science, Social(Content and Methodologies) for 80 marks.
The same system has been adapted in the case of School Assistant Maths, Physical Sciences, Social Studies, Telugu, Hindi and English selection exam.
