AP EdCET 2nd Phase Certificate Verification Web Option Dates 2023-2024:
A Common Entrance Test, designated as AP Education Common Entrance Test-2023 (APEd.CET-2023) will be conducted every year by the CONVENER, APEd.CET-2023, Andhra University, Visakhapatnam on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education for admission in to B.Ed (Two years) Regular Course in the Colleges of Education in Andhra Pradesh State for the academic year 2023-2024. SVU,Tirupati issued the AP Ed.CET 2023 Notification and invited online applications from the eligible candidates through Online mode and they were appeared the EdCET Exam . AP EdCET 2023 results were released by SVU officials and EdCET Candidates checked their results and downloaded their rank cards from the official web portal https://sche.ap.gov.in/EDCET
ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION:
Candidate shall have attempted relevant methodology subject at APEDCET- 2023 based on the subjects of study at Degree or PG level (for English methodology) as the case may be.
METHODOLOGY QUALIFICATION REQUIRED
- Mathematics Candidates with BA/BSC with mathematics as one of the group subject and BCA candidates with mathematics at intermediate level as group subject.
- Physical science Candidates with BSC who have studied physics, chemistry or allied material science under part II group subjects and BCA candidates with physical science (Physics and chemistry) at intermediate level as group subject.
- Biological science Candidates with BSC/BSC (Home science) who have studied botany and zoology or allied life science under part II group subjects and BCA candidates with biological science at intermediate level as group subject.
- Social studies All candidates with BA/BCOM/BBM/BCA/BSC with social sciences at intermediate level as group subject
- English Candidates with BA special English or MA special English
Candidate shall have obtained an aggregate of 50% marks at PG level and engineering qualifying examination and in respect of candidates of degree holders 45%(OC) 40% for (BC/SC/ST) in qualifying examination.
Attempting a different methodology paper at APEDCET-2023 and obtaining rank does not confer any right to claim admission in that methodology
AP EdCET 2nd Phase/ Final phase Certificate Verification,Web Options 2023-2024 :
The qualified candidates of AP Ed.CET-2023 Examination are informed to attend the certificate verification for 2nd phase of WEB based counseling for exercising web options for admission into B.Ed. Course for the academic year 2023-22 on the dates mentioned against their state wide rank and methodology in the following helpline center with all original certificates. All candidates have to pay processing fee at the time of certificate verification. The processing fee for SC/ST candidates is Rs.500/- and Rs.1000/- for others (non-refundable).
Candidates are informed to attend for certificate verification in any one of the following Helpline canters
Certificate verification for the uploaded certificates will be done by concerned authorities by online. Candidates need not visit the HLCs physically for verification.

Important Instructions to Candidates:
1) The attended candidates should show their original certificates at the helpline centers for verification. They have to submit one set of attested copies of the certificates.
2) Mere attending does not guarantee a seat.
3) The tuition fee for Government/University/Aided Private colleges varies from Rs.2700/- to Rs.13500/- and a special fee of Rs.3000/-. Fee shall be paid by the candidate at the college along with the allotment letter.
4) As per the Govt. Memo No. 6905-C/SW.Edn-2/2010-3, dated 12.08.2011 of Social Welfare Department, “The Students belonging to SC/ST/BC/EBC/DW/MW categories will be considered for Reimbursement of tuition fee (RTF) subject to Verification and Eligibility as per the orders of the Government (Whose parental income is up to 2 lakhs per annum in case of SC/ST and Rs 1 Lakh per Annum for others).
5) Candiates who have paid the fee Rs. 500/- or 1000/- during the first phase need not attend the second phase They can exercise their options through internet. Message will come to the cell of the candidate after allotment. Candidates are advised to give more options of their interest instead of a single college.
6) Onetime password (OTP) will be sent to the registered mobile at the time of saving the options. The OTP is valid for 10 minutes only. If it expires again click the save button, a new OTP will come.
7) The candidates who wish to change the college only should exercise the options. Once a new college is allotted the old college will automatically get cancelled.

STAGES OF WEB COUNSELING
1. Issue of Notification:
The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education will issue a notification in news papers and place the details of counseling indicating the dates and ranks of the candidates to be attended for Registration, Verification of Certificates and Schedule for Exercising options and also notify the list of Help-line Centres in the designated website. Candidates who fail to report for Certificates verification will not be considered for allotment of seats in any of the colleges.
2. Certificate Verification:
Candidates should produce the following certificates
– Hall ticket of APEdCET
– Rank Card of APEdCET
– SSC, Intermediate, Degree Marks Memo
– Study/ Bonafide Certificate for SEVEN academic years preceding the year of passing qualifying examination
– Integrated Caste Certificate of SC/ST/BC/Minorities (if applicable)
– Residence certificate / Aadhar card proof of candidate/parents in Andhra Pradesh for a period of 10 years
– Income Certificate issued by MRO issued after 1st January of the year of admission [ valid for three years from the date of issue] (in case the candidate – desires to claim fee exemption).
– PH/NCC/CAP/Sports and Games Certificates (if applicable)
– Econimically Weaker Section(EWS) Certificate (if applicable)
– Local status certificate (If Applicable, i.e., a candidate who migrates to any part of the state of Andhra Pradesh from the State of Telangana)
– Transfer Certificate.
– Candidates will be issued a receipt of Certificates at Help-line Centres after Verification.
3. Exercising Options:
After Certificate Verification in Help-line Centres, login ID will be sent to register mobile of the candidate. Using the credentials like registration number, hall ticket number, date of birth, candidates have to create a password by himself / herself. Using this password and other credentials mentioned above, candidate can login into the website for option entry. An OTP will be sent to the registered mobile after successful login. Using the OTP candidate can enter the preferential choice number (option) against each college and course he/she wishes to join in case allotted. Candidates are advised to make a manual exercise on paper to prepare a list of options , prioritize them in consultation with their parents and friends and then enter the options on the web. Candidates can exercise any number of options and can take print out of the saved options. The detailed User manual for registration, login, exercising Options is also placed in the web.
4. Modification of Options and Freezing:
Candidate can change his/her options any number of times during the allotted time. After allotted time for option entry, If the Candidate is not satisfied with the Options exercised, he/she can modify the options on the dates notified by the authority and this is final opportunity for exercising options.
5. Final Allotments of Seats:
Final Allotments will be placed on the Web. Candidates, with downloaded allotment order, have to report through Self-reporting system and report at the allotted college also. These two stages are mandatory and mere reporting through self-reporting or reporting at the college is alone not sufficient to retain a seat. If Candidate fails to report through self-reporting and reporting at the allotted college by the dates stipulated, the allotment stands cancelled and candidate will have no claim for further allotment of seats.
6. Reporting & Payment of Fees at Colleges:
Final Allotments will be placed on the Web. Candidates, with downloaded allotment order, have to report through Self-reporting system and report at the allotted college also. These two stages are mandatory and mere reporting through self-reporting or reporting at the college is alone not sufficient to retain a seat. If Candidate fails to report through self-reporting and reporting at the allotted college by the dates stipulated, the allotment stands cancelled and candidate will have no claim for further allotment of seats.
