ORDER :
The following Notification shall be published in the Andhra Pradesh Gazette.


NOTIFICATION:
In exercise of the powers conferred by the section 78 read with section 99 of the Andhra Pradesh Education Act, 1982(Act 1 of 1982) and under proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India and in supersession of the special Rules for the post of Mandal Educational Officer, issued in G.O.Ms.No.505 Education(Services-I)Department Dated 16.11.1998, the Governor of Andhra Pradesh hereby makes the following special Rules for the post of Mandal Educational Officer, Revenue Mandal.

01. Short Title:
These Rules may be called as Andhra Pradesh Educational Service [Mandal Educational Officer, Revenue Mandal] Rules.

02. Constitution:
The post of Mandal Educational Officer, Revenue Mandal shall constitute a separate category in Andhra Pradesh Educational Service Rules.

03. Method of Appointment and Appointing Authority:

Mandal Educational Officer, Revenue Mandal.	Appointment by transfer from the Head Master Grade-II (Gazetted) in Zilla Praja Parishad School.	Regional Joint Director of School Education concerned.

04. Qualifications:
No person shall be eligible for appointment by transfer to the post of Mandal Educational Officer, Revenue Mandal, unless he possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Science/Commerce and B.Ed. Degree from a University of India established or incorporated by or under a Central Act, Provincial Act or a State Act or an Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission or an equivalent qualification.
