2. Syllabus: complete the syllabus outlined in the semester 1 and semester 2 textbooks, as indicated in the academic calendar for 2024-25 for all classes and subjects.
Conducting Guidelines For HMs,MEOs,Teachers
- Question papers will be stored securely at the cluster complex for 1st to 5th classes and at MRC for 6th to 9th classes.
- A three-men committee shall be constituted at the MRC level, comprising MEO-1, MEO-2, and a Headmaster, and at the Cluster Complex level, comprising the Cluster Complex Headmaster, a Cluster Senior School Assistant, and a Cluster Resource Person (RP). These committees will be responsible for preserving, securely storing, and distributing confidential materials as per guidelines. They will be the custodians of the preserved papers.
- Question paper bundles will be handed over to the concerned schools only one hour prior to the commencement of the examination in each session.
- School complex HM and MEOs must ensure the integrity of the question papers. They, along with Cluster Resource Persons (CRPs), should visit schools during examination hours to verify that the examinations are being conducted smoothly and fairly.
- In case of any untoward incidents, School complex HMs, MEOs and CRPs should report immediately to higher officials.
- MEOs and CRPs should focus on monitoring examination conduction procedures in both private and government-managed schools.
- The evaluation of answer scripts must be completed by April 19, 2025.
- The Progress Cards shall be issued by 21.04.2025 and they should be collected back by 23.04.2025
- The submission of promotion lists must be completed by April 23, 2025.
Therefore, all the Regional Joint Directors of School Education and the District Educational officers are requested to take necessary action accordingly.

AP SA2 Exams new Time Table 2023-24: Andhra Pradesh State Government announced Summative Assessment2 SA 2 Exam Time Table for 1st to IX Classes for all schools in Andhra Pradesh. Andhra Pradesh School Education Dept Plans to Conduct SA2 Exams from 6th April to 19th April 2025.

All Regional Joint Directors of School Education and District Educational Ofcers in the state are informed that it has been decided to conduct the 3rd classroom-based assessment/ Summative Assessment 2 in the academic year 2023-24, from 06.04.2025, across the state.
Classroom-based assessments 1 and 2 have been completed in the academic year 2023-24, and the results are being analyzed for further remedial action. As decided earlier, the third classroom-based assessment is being conducted as per the blueprint, and the MUA balance is being maintained as specifed in the annexure.
To familiarize class IX students with the SSC exam pattern, it has been decided to conduct the Summative Assessment 2 in the SSC public exam model, with a 100 marks scheme, and in a 6-paper system. All the DCEBs are requested to instruct the teachers to post the marks for class IX students by reducing them to 80 marks in the SA2 marks entry registers and web portal.

SA-2 Exam Guidelines 2025
1. జిల్లా లోని అన్ని ప్రభుత్వ యాజమాన్య పాఠశాలలో (1 నుండి 9 వ తరగతి వరకు) మరియు ప్రవేట్ యాజమాన్య పాఠశాలలలో (6 నుండి 9 వ తరగతి వరకు) SCERT AP వారి ద్వారా జారీ చేయబడ్డ ప్రశ్నా పత్రాలతో మాత్రమే తేదీ 06.04.2025 నుండి SA-II పరీక్షలు నిర్వహించాలి.
2. 1వ తరగతి నుండి 8 తరగతి వరకు గల విద్యార్థులకు క్లాస్ రూమ్ బేస్డ్ అసెస్మెంట్ (CBA-3) నిర్వహించడం. జరుగుతుంది. 9వ తరగతి విద్యార్థులకు, 10వ తరగతి మాదిరిగా SA-II పరీక్షలు నిర్వహించడం జరుగుతుంది.
3. క్లాస్ రూమ్ బేస్డ్ అసెస్మెంట్ కు ప్రభుత్వ యాజమాన్య పాఠశాలల విద్యార్థులకు ప్రశ్న పత్రంతో పాటు Variable OMR షీస్ఇవ్వడం జరుగుతుంది. (6,7, 8 తరగతులకు లాంగ్వేజ్ పరీక్షలకు ఒక OMR మరియు నాన్ లాంగ్వేజ్ పరీక్షలకు మరియొక OMR ఇవ్వబడతాయి). ప్రవేట్ యాజమాన్య పాఠశాలల విద్యార్థులకు కేవలం ప్రశ్నపత్రములు మాత్రమే ఇవ్వబడతాయి. OMRలు ఇవ్వబడవు.
4. ప్రశ్న పత్రంలో ఆబ్జెక్టివ్ తరహా ప్రశ్నలతో పాటు డిస్క్రిప్టివ్ తరహా ప్రశ్నలు కూడా ఇవ్వబడతాయి. విద్యార్థులు అన్ని ప్రశ్నలకు జవాబులను ప్రశ్న పత్రం లో టిక్ చేయాలి, వ్రాయాలి మరియు MCQ ప్రశ్నలకు OMR నందు కూడా బబుల్ చేయాలి.

మండల విద్యాశాఖాధికారి చేయవలసిన పనులు:
పరీక్షలకు ముందు చేయవలసిన పనులు:
6. జిల్లా ఉమ్మడి పరీక్షల విభాగం నుండి ప్రశ్నపత్రాలను Variable OMRలను, Buffer OMRలను, పాఠశాల వారి విద్యార్థుల సంఖ్యలను తెలుపు లిస్టులను తీసుకొని సరి చూసుకొనవలెను. 1 నుండి 5 తరగతుల వరకు ప్రతి విద్యార్థికి ఒక OMR, 6 నుండి 8వ తరగతి వరకు ప్రతి విద్యార్థికి రెండు OMR లు ఇవ్వబడతాయి. ప్రశ్నపత్రాలను మండల విద్యాశాఖాధికారి మరియు ఒక సీనియర్ ప్రధానోపాధ్యాయుని సమక్షములో స్ట్రాంగ్ రూమ్ లో కానీ తాళముల వేసిన బాక్స్ లలో గాని భద్రపరచి వారి కస్టడీలో ఉంచుకొనవలెను,
7. ఇవ్వబడిన లిస్టు ప్రకారం పాఠశాల వారీ Variable OMR లను విభజించి పాఠశాల వారీ బాక్సులలో ఉంచి, పాఠశాలలకు 15.04.2025 తేదీ ఇవ్వవలెను. వారు పాఠశాలలోని అందరు విద్యార్థులకు Variable OMR లు సరి. పోయినవి/లేదు అని సరిచూసుకొన్న తరువాత అవసరమైన Buffer OMR లను 20.04.2025వ తేదీ ఇవ్వవలెను.
8. అట్లే 1 నుండి 5వ తరగతి వరకు ప్రశ్నపత్రాలను కాంప్లెక్స్ వారీగా విభజించుకొని, 19.04.2025వ తేదీ కాంప్లెక్స్ హెడ్మాస్టర్ కు ఇచ్చి మరల వారు పరీక్ష రోజులలో వారి కాంప్లెక్స్ లోని పాఠశాలలకు రోజు వారి ఇవ్వవలసినట్లుగా తెలియ జేయవలెను.
పరీక్షల సమయంలో చేయవలసిన పనులు:
9. 6 నుండి 9వ తరగతి వరకు ప్రశ్నాపత్రాలను అన్ని పాఠశాలలకు MRC నుండి మాత్రమే ప్రతిరోజు టైం టేబుల్ అనుసరించి పరీక్షకు ఒక గంట ముందుగా ఇవ్వవలెను.
పరీక్షల అనంతరం చేయవలసిన పనులు:
10. పరీక్షల అనంతరం, అన్ని పాఠశాలల నుండి OMR షీట్స్ పాకెట్స్ సేకరించి, కన్సాలిడేటెడ్ లిస్టు తయారు చేసి, స్కానింగ్ నిమిత్తమై జిల్లా ఉమ్మడి పరీక్షల విభాగము కార్యాలయానికి పంపాలి.
కాంప్లెక్స్ ప్రధానోపాధ్యాయుడు చేయవలసిన పనులు:
11. కాంప్లెక్స్ హెడ్మాస్టర్ లు వారి కాంప్లెక్స్ కు సంబంధించిన అన్ని పాఠశాలల యొక్క తరగతి వారి విద్యార్థుల సంఖ్య లతో కూడిన లిస్టులను, 1 నుండి 5వ తరగతి వరకు ప్రశ్నపత్రాలను MRC నుండి CRP ద్వారా తెప్పించుకొని తమ కస్టడీలో ఉంచుకొనవలెను.
12. ప్రతి పరీక్ష రోజు పాఠశాలకు కేటాయించబడిన ప్రశ్నపత్రాలను, పరీక్షకు గంట ముందు ఆయా పాఠశాలల ఉపాధ్యాయులకు ఇవ్వవలెను.

13. మొదటగా మీ పాఠశాలలోని విద్యార్థుల యొక్క తరగతి వారి లిస్టులను వారి child IDలతో తయారుచేసుకుని సిద్ధంగా ఉంచుకొనవలెను.
14. 19.03.2025 వ తేదీ MRC నుండి మీ పాఠశాలకు సంబంధించిన Variable OMRలను తీసుకొని సరిచూసుకొనవలెను. 1 నుండి 5 తరగతుల వరకు ప్రతి విద్యార్థికి ఒక OMR 6 నుండి 8వ తరగతి వరకు ప్రతి విద్యార్థికీ రెండు OMR లు లాంగ్వేజ్ పరీక్షలకు ఒక OMR, నాన్ లాంగ్వేజ్ పరీక్షలకు మరియొక OMR ఇవ్వబడతాయి, Variable OMRలు కేటాయించబడని విద్యార్థుల కొరకు Buffer OMR లను MRC వద్ద నుండి తీసుకొని విద్యార్థుల పేరు, child ID లను రాసుకొని ఉపయోగించవలెను.
పరీక్షల సమయంలోచేయవలసిన పనులు:
15. 6 నుండి పదవ తరగతి విద్యార్థుల యొక్క ప్రశ్నాపత్రాలను ఏ రోజుకు ఆ రోజు MRC నుండి పరీక్షకు ఒక గంట ముందు తీసుకొని పాఠశాలకు రావలెను. 16. పరీక్షకు ముందువిద్యార్థులను క్రమంగా సరైన దూరములో కూర్చుండబెట్టి వారి వారిOMRలను వారికి అందజేయాలి. పేరు,child iDలు సరిపోయినవి / లేదు అని సరిచూసుకొనమని విద్యార్థులకు తెలియజేయాలి.
17. తరువాత ప్రశ్నపత్రాలను అందజేయాలి. CBA పరీక్షా పత్రంలో రెండు రకముల ప్రశ్నలు ఉంటాయి
- బహుళైచ్ఛిక ప్రశ్నలు (MCQS) – 2 నుండి 4 ఎంపికలు ఉంటాయి. వాటిలో ఒకటి మాత్రమే సరైన సమాధానం,సరియైన ఎంపికను ప్రశ్నపత్రం పై గుర్తించాలి మరియు OMRపై సరి అయిన వృత్తములో బబుల్ చేయాలి.
- ఎంపిక లేని ప్రశ్నలు (FRQS) – ఈ ప్రశ్నలకు జవాబులను ప్రశ్నపత్రం పైనేరాయాలి ( OMRలపై గుర్తించవలసిన అవసరం లేదు).
18. విద్యార్ధులు OMR లపై బహుళైచ్ఛిక ప్రశ్నలకు మాత్రమే జవాబులు గుర్తించాలని, ఎంపిక లేని ప్రశ్నలకు జవాబులను OMR పై రాయవలసిన అవసరం లేదని విద్యార్థులకు తెలియజేయాలి.
19. ఒకేOMR పై అన్ని సబ్జెకులకు సంబంధించిన బబుల్ ఉంటాయి కాబట్టి ఏ పరీక్షకు ఆసబ్జెక్టుకు సంబంధించిన బబుల్స్ మాత్రమే విద్యార్థి నింపాలని తెలియజేయాలి, పర్యవేక్షించాలి.
20. ప్రతిరోజూ పరీక్ష పూర్తైన వెంటనే విద్యార్థుల నుండి జవాబులు వ్రాసిన ప్రశ్నపత్రంతో పాటు OMR షీట్ వెనుకకు తీసుకోవాలి. కూడా
21. ప్రతి విద్యార్థి యొక్క OMR ను పరిశీలించి, విద్యార్థి ఏదైనా ప్రశ్నకు ఎంపికను గుర్తించనిచో ఆ ప్రశ్నకు ఉపాధ్యాయుడు E అనే ఎంపికను bubble చేయాలి.
22. 1 నుండి 5 తరగతుల వరకు ఒక్కొక్క విద్యార్థికి అన్ని పరీక్షలకు కలిపి ఒకే OMR షీట్ 6 నుండి 8వ తరగతి వరకు ఒక్కొక్క విద్యార్థికి లాంగ్వేజ్ పరీక్షలకు ఒక OMR, నాన్ లాంగ్వేజ్ పరీక్షలకు మరియొక OMH ఇవ్వబడతాయి. కనుక ప్రతిరోజు అదే OMR ను ఇచ్చి ఆ సబ్జెక్టు నందు జవాబులను బబుల్ చేయించవలెను.
23. 1, 2, 3 తరగతుల పరీక్ష నిర్వహణలో సూచనలు: ఉపాధ్యాయుడు ప్రతి ప్రశ్నను గట్టిగా చదివి విద్యార్థులు ఆ ప్రశ్నకు జవాబును గుర్తించిన తర్వాత మరియొక ప్రశ్నను గట్టిగా చదువుతూ విద్యార్థుల చే జవాబులను. రాయించాలి. పరీక్ష అనంతరం విద్యార్థుల నుండి ప్రశ్నపత్రంలను సేకరించి వారి OMRలపై ఉపాధ్యాయుడే విద్యార్థి యొక్క జవాబులను బబుల్ చేయాలి.
24. 4, 5 తరగతుల పరీక్ష నిర్వహణలో సూచనలు: నిర్వహణలో సూచనలు: OMRలపై విద్యార్థులే జవాబులను గుర్తించాలి. తెలుగు ఇంగ్లీషు పరీక్షలలో ప్యాసేజీలను ఉపాధ్యాయుడు గట్టిగా చదివి వినిపించిన తరువాత విద్యార్థులు జవాబులను రాయాలని తెలియజేయాలి.
25. 6, 7, 8 తరగతుల పరీక్ష నిర్వహణలో సూచనలు: లాంగ్వేజ్ పరీక్షలకు ఒక OMR. నాన్ లాంగ్వేజ్ పరీక్షలకు మరియొక OMR ఇచ్చి పరీక్ష రాయించాలి. ప్రశ్న పత్రమును చదివి, అర్థం చేసుకొనుట మరియు జవాబులను గుర్తించుట/రాయుట పూర్తిగా విద్యార్థులే సొంతముగా చేయునట్లు పర్యవేక్షించాలి.

26. పరీక్షలు అన్ని పూర్తైన వెంటనే OMR షీట్స్ అన్నింటిని తరగతి వారీగా OMR అకౌంటు షీట్లను తయారుచేసి, 1 నుండి 5 తరగతుల OMR షీట్స్ ఒక కవరు, 6 నుండి 8వ తరగతి వరకు లాంగ్వేజ్ OMR షీట్స్ ఒక కవరు, నాన్-లాంగ్వేజ్ OMR షీట్స్ ఒక కవరు నందు ప్యాక్ చేసి, అన్నింటిని BOX నందు ఉంచ, మండల విద్యాశాఖాధికారి వారి కార్యాలయానికి చివరి పరీక్ష రోజునే పంపాలి.
27. పరీక్షల అనంతరం ప్రతి తరగతి (1 నుండి 8 తరగతులకు మాత్రమే), ప్రతి సబ్జెక్టు నకు KEY విడుదల చేయబడుతుంది. దాని ప్రకారం ఉపాధ్యాయులు విద్యార్థుల వద్ద నుండి ప్రతి రోజు పరీక్ష తదనంతరం వెనుకకు సేకరించిన జవాబులతో కూడిన ప్రశ్నా పత్రములలోని జవాబులను దిద్దాలి. విద్యార్థులు పొందిన మార్కులను సంబంధిత రిజిస్టర్లు నందు నమోదు చేయడంతో పాటు, నిర్ణీత సమయం లోపల CSE సైట్ నందు ఎంటర్ చేయాలి. జవాబులతో కూడిన ప్రశ్న పత్రాలను తనిఖీ అధికారుల పరిశీలనార్థం భద్రపరచాలి.
29. విద్యార్థులు పొందిన మార్కులను ప్రోగ్రెస్ కార్డులందు నమోదుచేసి విద్యార్థుల తల్లిదండ్రులకు పంపాలి, తక్కువ ప్రతిభ చూపిన విద్యార్థులకు ప్రత్యేక శిక్షణ ఇవ్వాలి. ఉపాధ్యాయులు తల్లిదండ్రుల సమీక్షా సమావేశంలో SA-II నందు విద్యార్థులు చూసిన ప్రతిభపై చర్చించాలి.
30. మూల్యాంక నము పూర్తి చేసి, ప్రమోషన్ లిస్టులను తయారు చేయాలి. తల్లిదండ్రుల సమావేశమును ఏర్పాటు చేసి విద్యార్థులకు ప్రగతిని తెలియజేయాలి. పాఠశాలలోని అందరు విద్యార్థుల యొక్క ప్రమోషన్ లిస్టు లను ప్రదర్శించాలి.

April 6 నుండి 19 వ తేదీ వరకు మండలంలోని అన్ని యాజమాన్య పాఠశాలలు షెడ్యూల్ ప్రకారం పరీక్షలు నిర్వహించాలి. 1 నుండి 8 వరకు CBA -3 పరీక్షలు,9వ తరగతి విద్యార్థులకు SA -2 పరీక్షలు ఉంటాయి. 1 నుండి 5 తరగతుల విద్యార్థులకు ఒక్కొక్కరికి ఒక OMR ఇవ్వబడును,6 నుండి 8 తరగతుల వారికి 2 OMR లు ఇవ్వబడును (ఒకటి లాంగ్వేజ్ మరొకటి నాన్ లాంగ్వేజ్ ) 1 నుండి 5 తరగతుల ప్రశ్నపత్రాలు, OMR లు 19 వ తేదిన MRC నుండి తీసుకోగలరు,6 నుండి 9 తరగతులకు ప్రశ్న పత్రాలు, పరీక్ష జరిగే రోజు గంట ముందు MRC నుండి తీసుకోవాలి OMR లు 19 వ తేదీన తీసుకోగలరు. OMR లు రాని విద్యార్థులకు Buffer OMR లు ఇవ్వబడును. పరీక్షలలో జవాబులను ప్రశ్న పత్రంలో వ్రాయించాలి అనంతరం ఆబ్జెక్టివ్ ప్రశ్నలకు సంబంధించిన జవాబులను OMR లో బబుల్ చేయించాలి. OMR లో విద్యార్థులు గుర్తించని సమాధానాలను ఉపాధ్యాయుడు E ఆప్షన్ ని బబుల్ చేయాలి. పరీక్ష అనంతరం OMR లను ప్యాక్ చేసి MRC కి పంపాలి.

All the questions for classes 1-3 will be read aloud by the teachers. In Class 4 and 5, language papers, one passage will be read aloud by the teachers. Grade 6 Hindi paper will have 20 MCQs and 10 FRs to lower the difficulty level of the paper.
2. Mechanical, Understanding, Application (MUA) Questions Balance: To measure the learning to date and determine the student learning needs, it is essential to use the right instruments. The instruments should have a balance of items in terms of cognitive domain along with content domain being tested. The questions used in the assessments are characterized on the basis of the cognitive ability they demand for solving them. The questions are classified as Mechanical(M), Understanding(U) and |

Considering the nature of the assessments and in order to simplify the paper, CBA3 is developed with the modified MUA balance as follows.

Percentage of Application questions was reduced to 10% in the lower grades to ensure that more straightforward questions are asked in the paper. However, for language papers this was kept as 30% as Free-response questions are descriptive writing questions and hence categorized as Application-based questions. Depending on the topics being tested, there might be +/- 10% variation in the MUA balance in the test papers. It was given more weightage to understanding questions for certain concepts to get meaningful insights.
3. Difficulty level: The difficulty level of the assessment tools will be maintained between 50-55%. It was also ensured that 70% of the paper is similar to what the students are familiar with based on past assessments and eventually build their capacity on MCQ-based assessments.
4. Identical Repeats: In the Classroom Based Assessment – 3 papers, 20% of Identical Repeats (IRs) were used. This 20% will comprise the questions from Classroom Based Assessment – 1 and Classroom Based Assessment – 2 round to help gauge the incremental improvement between the three assessments.
