APOSS- S.S.C & Intermediate courses- Admissions for the year- 2022-23

A.P. Open School Society was established as an autonomous society registered under the Andhra Pradesh Public Societies Act on 20th of February 1991 and inaugurated on 17th of March 1991, vide G.O. Ms. No.50 Edn. (SSE-2) Department, dt: 08.02.1991. It is the first State Open School in the country. The main objectives of APOSS, at the time of its inception have been To provide pre-elementary Education through Open and Distance Learning (ODL) mode to School drop-outs and those missing Upper Primary stage of education and to attain Universalization of Elementary Education (UEE) in the State.The AP government has established its own Open School Society for admission into SSC and intermediate various courses to be offered in Open School Distance Education System. It is a great opportunity for drop out students to continue their education. The APOSS has been dedicated for Andhra Pradesh state only.

APOSS will provide opportunities for continuing education to those who have missed opportunities to complete school and development education; and to other children/persons desirous of pursuing school level education through open and distance learning (ODL) mode by offering courses and programmes of general education, life enrichment and vocational education up to pre-degree level.

The Director APOSS has given admission notification 2022  for this academic year 2022-2022 for admission into 10th class(SSC) and Intermediate courses through distance mode in their Open school study centers. The candidates can apply for 10th class and intermediate courses from 01.09.2022. Candidates can apply for these courses upto 07.10.2022 . More details will be updated on the official website or available at study centers. The enrolled students have to appear for the examination conducted by APOSS. There will be separate study material and examination pattern for open school system candidates. The degrees will be considered on par with regular candidates.

2022 ఆగస్టు 31 నాటికి 14 సంవత్సరాలు పూర్తి అయి ఎలాంటి విద్యార్హతలు లేకున్నా, పదోతరగతి ఫెయిల్‌ అయిన వారు, మధ్యలో చదువు మానేసిన వారు పదోతరగతిలో ప్రవేశాలు పొందడానికి అర్హులని పేర్కొన్నారు.

ప్రవేశాల కోసం అభ్యాసకులు కేవలం జిల్లాలోని ఉప విద్యాధికారులు, మండల విద్యాధికారులు, ప్రధానోపాధ్యాయులను మాత్రమే సంప్రదించాలని కోరారు. ప్రభుత్వం నిర్ధేశించిన ప్రవేశ రుసుములు మాత్రమే ఆన్‌లైన్‌ ద్వారా చెల్లించి ప్రవేశాలను నమోదు చేసుకోవాలన్నారు  .

SSC Registration Fee: 100/-
పదోతరగతి ఓసీ పురుషులు రూ.1300,
ఇతరులకు రూ.900,

Inter Registration Fee: 200/-
ఇంటర్‌ ఓసీలకు రూ.1400లు,
ఇతరులకు రూ.1100లు చెల్లించాలి .
దరఖాస్తులను ఆన్‌లైన్‌ చేయించుకున్న తరవాత వచ్చిన నెంబరు ఆధారంగా ప్రవేశ ఫీజులను ఏపీ ఆన్‌లైన్‌లో చెల్లించాలి.

Admission fee:
Admission fee payable for SSC and Inter as for the following. Do not pay any additional amount of money for admission other than specified.

Educational qualifications:
ForSSC/ 10th Class:
No formal educational qualification but candiddates should completed 14 years is eligible.
For Intermediate:
The candidates who have passed SSC/Secondary course and Intermediate /XII failed candidates of other Boards can join in Intermediate courses in their study centers. Science candidates should take admission in Junior Colleges only.

a) Entry Requirements at SSC:
Requirements for  SSC  
(i)Minimum age supporting documents: 14 years as on 31st August of the year of registration.  
(i) Transfer Certificate/Record Sheet (with two attested Xerox copies) showing applicant‟s date of birth, issued by the last school attended by the applicant.  In case of Govt. schools the transfer certificate/ school leaving certificate should be signed by  the  Head  of  the  institution  while  in  the  case  of  Private schools it should also be countersigned by the competent education authority of Govt.  i.e., Dy.E.O/District Educational Officer OR (ii) Birth Certificate issued by Municipal Authority /District office of the Registrar of Births and Deaths /Tahasildar (with two attested Xerox copies) Concerned.

(ii)Minimum educational qualifications : NIL 
(i) However, a candidate may submit a self declaration that he/she has sufficient knowledge and is capable of studying class X. (ii) If a candidate has studied certain classes in a school he has to produce T.C/Record Sheet to that effect.

(iii)Proof  of residence:
To  be  furnished  from  Tahasildar  /Competent  Municipal  Authority concerned in case of learners from other States/Country.

b) Entry Requirements at Intermediate Level

Requirements for  Intermediate Course


(i)  Minimum  age  supporting documents :  15 years as on 31st  August of the year of registration.
Original copy of the Certificate of Matriculation/ Secondary Examination having a record of the Date of Birth along with Two attested Xerox copies.
(ii)  Minimum educational qualifications :   Pass in S.S.C from a recognized board.  (*)
(iii)    Proof    of    residence    in Telangana :  If   Passed   SSC   from   other   State/Country   proof   of Residence should be enclosed in case of learners from other States/ Country.

2. Eligible for Central or State government Jobs and Eligible for Higher studies i.e., Inter, Degree, EAMCET, B.Tech, Medicine, Agriculture, Law etc and and abroad also. These courses useful to govt/ private employees eligible for promotions.
3. APOSS Inter Passed with 50% Marks General Candidates and 45% Marks SC/ST/PHC Candidates are eligible to appear for DEECET also.

Apply procedure for APOSS  SSC ,Inter Admissions 2020-20:
1. Eligible Candidates can apply through online mode only.
2.The filled in Application forms, after certified by the A.I Coordinator, register through Online at Meea Seva centre, by paying requisite fee.
3. Submit the original copy of application along with enclosures at the A.I Coordinator.
4. Take the duplicate copy of application to Mee Seva for updation through online.
5. Take the Admission fee receipt and printout copy of the online Registered application form Mee Seva and preserve it for future reference.
