Bihar Govt has announced for Bihar Teacher jobs notification to fill the posts of Primary, Secondary and Senior Secondary Teachers in schools under the Bihar Government.  In the Cabinet meeting held on May 2, approval was given for the filling up of 1.78 lakh teaching posts in primary, secondary and high schools. However, the education department has sent a proposal to the government to allow non-state workers to get jobs instead of locals. On this proposal, in the cabinet meeting held on Tuesday, a decision was taken to allow people from other states to be appointed to the posts of teachers. 85,477 primary teachers, 1,745 secondary teachers and 90,804 high school teacher posts will be filled in the state of Bihar. According to the Bihar State School Teacher (Recruitment, Transfer, Disciplinary Actions and  Service Rules) (Amendment) Rules, 2023, all types of school teachers appointed with special district cadres shall have the same status as state government employees.
