    The Food Corporation of India (FCI) has announced 4,103 jobs for which graduates are eligible.

    Educational Qualifications: 

    Junior Engineer (Civil): Candidates with degree in Civil engineering or Diploma in Civil engineering with one year experience are eligible for the post.
    Junior Engineer (Electrical Mechanical): Candidates with degree in Electrical engineering or mechanical engineering or diploma in electrical/ mechanical engineering with one year experience are eligible for the post.
    Stenographer Grade 2: Graduates with ‘O’ level qualification of DOEACC and speed of 40 words per minute and 80 words per minute in typing and shorthand, respectively are eligible for the post. Candidates with degree in computer science / computer application with speed of 40 words per minute and 80 words per minute in typing and shorthand, respectively can also apply.
    Assistant Grade 2 (Hindi): Graduates with Hindi as the main subject having proficiency in English and one year experience of translating from English to Hindi and vice-versa are eligible for the post. Candidates with post graduation in Hindi can also apply.
    Typist (Hindi): Graduates with Hindi typing speed of 30 words per minute are eligible for the post. “Preference will be given to the candidates knowing bilingual typing (English and Hindi) and Computer knowledge,” reads the notice.
    Assistant Grade 3 (General): Candidates with Graduate Degree in any discipline from a recognized University with proficiency in use of computers can apply.
    Assistant Grade 3 (Accounts): Candidates with Bachelor of Commerce from a recognized University with proficiency in use of computers can apply.
    Assistant Grade 3 (Technical): Candidates with B.Sc. in Agriculture/ Botany / Zoology / Bio-Technology/Bio-Chemistry/ Microbiology / Food Science or B. Tech / BE in Food Science/Food Science and Technology/Agricultural Engineering / Bio-Technology are eligible to apply. Candidates must have proficiency in computer usage.
    Assistant Grade 3 (Depot): Candidates with Graduate Degree in any discipline from a recognized University with proficiency in use of computers are eligible to apply.

    Note : 388 vacancies are reserved for the EWS category under the 10 per cent reservation quota introduced recently. “EWS vacancies are tentative and subject to further directives of GoI and outcome of any litigation,” reads the notice.

    Candidates belonging to caste which is not recognized as a Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and OBC with a family income of less than 8 lakh annually, having less than 5 acres of agricultural land, residential flat of less than 1000 square feet and residential plots less than 100 square yards in notified municipalities are eligible to avail the 10 per cent reservation quota benefit. Those having residential plots less than 200 square yards in areas other than the notified municipalities are also eligible.

    How to apply for FCI Recruitment 2019
    The Candidates applying for the post (ANY ONE WITHIN THE ZONE) are required to submit APPLICATION FEE of Rs. 500/- (Excluding bank charges but including G S T ) .  The payment can be made by using Debit Cards (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets/UPI.   SC / ST / PwBD / Serving Defence Personnel / Ex-Serviceman and Women are exempted from paying fees.  APPLICATION FEES (NON REFUNDABLE) PAYMENT OF FEE ONLINE : 23.02.2019 10:00 Hrs (IST) to 25.03.2019 24:00 Hrs (IST)

    How to Apply Online / Application Registration
    1.   Candidates to go to the FCI website (www.fci.gov.in) and click on the option “APPLY ONLINE” which will open a new screen.
    2.   To register application, choose the tab “Click here for New Registration” and enter Name, Contact  details  and  Email-id.  A  Provisional  Registration  Number  and  Password  will  be generated by the system and displayed on the screen. Candidate should note down the Provisional Registration Number and Password. An Email & SMS indicating the Provisional Registration number and Password will also be sent.
    3.   The Name of the candidate or his /her Father/ Husband etc. should be spelt correctly in the application as it appears in the Certificates/ Mark sheets/Identity proof. Any change/alteration found may disqualify the candidature.
    4.   Candidates can proceed to upload Photo & Signature as per the specifications given in the
    Guidelines for Scanning and Upload of Photograph and Signature detailed under point “C”.
    5.   Candidates can proceed to fill other details of the Application Form.
    6. Modify details, if required, and click on ‘FINAL SUBMIT’ ONLY after verifying and ensuring that the photograph, signature uploaded and other details filled by you are correct.
    7. Click on ‘Payment’ Tab and proceed for payment.
    8. Click on ‘Submit’ button.

    3. Last Date & time for submission of Online Application and payment of fees. 25.03.2019 till 24:00 Hrs (IST)
