i. Master’s degree in relevant subject with first class or equivalent, at Bachelor’s or Master’s Level from any recognised Indian University and Ph. D degree in relevant subject.
ii. A minimum of 10 years of teaching experience in University/college, and/or experience in research at the University/National level Institutions/ industries out of which 5 years should be at the level of Associate Professor including experience of guiding candidates for research at doctoral level.
OR
Minimum of 13 years of teaching experience in University/college, and/or experience in research at the University/National level Institutions/ industries.
iii. vidence of published work with a minimum of 4 publications with good impact factor in International Journal of repute.
iv. A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based on Performance Based Appraised System (PBAS).

In case of research experience, good academic record and books / research paper publications / IPR / patents record shall be required as deemed fit by the expert members of the Selection committee. If the experience in industry is considered, the same shall be at managerial level equivalent to Associate Professor with active participation record in devising / designing, planning, executing, analyzing, quality control, innovating, training, technical books / research paper publications / IPR / patents, etc. as deemed fit by the expert members of the Selection committee.
iv. A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based on Performance Based Appraised System (PBAS).

m. Placement & Training level of Associate Professor:
Essential Qualifications and experience required for the post shall be in line with Professor (Engineering and Technology) laid down above. Due weightage shall be given to a person from the reputed Industrial background with good managerial and communicational skill. Degree in management shall be a desirable qualification.

The last date for filling up of the applications through online is 30.03.2019 upto 05.00 P.M. and the last date for receipt of hard copy of filled-in on-line application along with necessary documents by post/in-person should reach the Registrar, JNTUH, Kukatpally, Hyderabad–500 085 on or before 08.04.2019 by 05.00 P.M. Those who wish to apply for more than one post should submit the filled in online application separately for each post along with the prescribed fee.

Important Note: The candidates who join the JNTUH service through this advertisement are eligible for contributory pension scheme as per the Government norms. The candidates selected against the vacancy available at the Concerned College should work in any of the Constituent Colleges/ Units of the University including JNTUH Colleges of Engineering Hyderabad / Jagityal/ Manthani / Sultanpur.

Registration fee: Rs.2000/- (in case of SC/ST candidates the Fee is Rs.1,000/-) for each post. applied.

The University reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of posts, not to fill up any or all the above posts, without assigning any reason whatsoever.
