Minority Students Merit Cum Means Scholarship 2020 online applications.

Conditions for Scholarship:
1. Financial assistance will be given to pursue degree or post graduate level technical and professional courses from a recognized institution. Maintenance allowance will be credited to the account. The Course fee will be paid by the State Department directly to the institute concerned.
2. Students who get admission to a college to pursue technical or professional course, on the basis of a competitive examination will be eligible for the scholarship.
3. Students who get admission in technical or professional courses without facing any competitive examination will also be eligible for scholarship. However, such students should have not less than 50 percent marks at higher secondary or graduation level.
4. Selection of these students will be done strictly on merit basis. Continuation of the scholarship in subsequent years depend on successful completion of the course during the preceding year.
5. A Scholar ship holder under this scheme will not avail any other scholarship or stipend for pursuing the course. The annual income of the beneficiary / parent or guardian of beneficiary should not exceed Rs.2.50 lakh from all course.

Eligibility Criteria:
1. Students, who have got admission in a recognized college to pursue technical or professional courses on the basis of a competitive examination.
2. Students, who have got admission in a recognized college to pursue technical or professional course, without facing any competitive examination will also be eligible for scholarship.
3. However, such students should have not less than 50 percent marks at higher secondary or graduation level. Selection of these students will be done strictly of merit.
3. A scholarship holder under this scheme will not avail any other scholarship or stipend for pursuing the course.
4. The annual income of the beneficiary / parent or guardian of beneficiary should not exceed Rs.2.50 lakh from all courses.
5. A student residing in a particular State / UT will be entitled for scholarship under the quota of that State / UT only irrespective of this place of study.

PROCEDURE FOR APPLYING: 
(i)  The scheme is implemented through National Scholarship Portal (NSP).
It is mandatory for all students to apply online on the website of this  Ministry i.e.  www.scholarships.gov.in.
(ii) The list of documents to be scanned & uploaded for both Fresh and Renewal Scholarships as under:
a)  Student Photo. (Mandatory)
b)  Institution Verification Form. (Mandatory)
c)  Self declaration of Income Certificate by the student. (Mandatory)
d)  Self declaration of community by the student. (Mandatory)
e)  In case of Fresh: Self Attested Certificate of ‘Previous Academic Mark sheet’ as filled in Form. (Mandatory)
f)   In   case   of   Renewal:   Self-Attested   Certificate   of   Previous   Year Marksheet as filled in the Form. (Mandatory)
g)  Fee Receipt of current course year. (Mandatory)
h)  Proof of Bank Account in the name of student.  (Mandatory)
i)   Aadhaar Card (optional)
j)   Residential Certificate. (Mandatory)
