4. Lab Technician: 92 Posts (Rs.9000/-Per month)
5. Accountant: 92 Posts (Rs.10000/-Per month)
6. ANM: 276 Posts (Rs.10000/-Per month)

Government of India has launched National Urban Health Mission as sub mission of National Health Mission during 2013-14 with an aim to improve the health status of the urban population in general, but particularly of the poor and other disadvantages sections, by facilitating equitable access to quality health care through a revamped public health system, partnerships, community based mechanism with the active involvement of the urban local bodies. All the Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) with more than 50000 population are covered under NUHM.
In the reference read above the Commissioner of Health & Family Welfare, Telangana State, Hyderabad has stated that 92 Urban Health Centres were established in the urban areas of Telangana in the year 2002 onwards under A.P.Urban Slum Health Care Project. These Urban Health Centres were operated by the NGOs. Initially funded through under A.P. Urban Slum Health Care Project and later funded through Urban RCH of National Rural Health Mission. After launching of National Urban Health Mission, the funding from Urban RCH of NRHM is discontinued. In the RoP of 2014-15, the Government of India sanctioned 92 Urban Primary Health Centres by upgrading the existing 92 Urban Health Centres. Accordingly Commissioner Health & Family Welfare requested to issue Permission to reconstitute UHCs as Urban Primary Health Centres as approved in NUHM and to run these UPHCs through District Health Societies instead of NGOs and also permission to continue the contract / outsourced personal working in in UHCs (Community Organiser, M.O. Assistant
and Watchman which are not approved in NUHM) into the other schemes of National Health
Mission as per eligibility and availability of vacancies.
He has further stated that in the RoP of 2014-15, the Government of India sanctioned (828) various services on contract / outsourcing basis in Urban Primary Healh Centres through District Health Societies as follows :

Government after careful examination of the matter hereby permitted to upgrade existing 92 Urban Health Centres as Urban Primary Health Centres and to be operated by the District Health Societies instead of NGOs and also permit to contract / outsource the services as at para – above, for a period of one year or till the actual need ceases, whichever is earlier.
The Commissioner of Health & Family Welfare & Mission Director National Health Mission, Telangana State, Hyderabad shall take further necessary action in the matter.
