The notification for the Admissions to 6-Year Integrated B. TS RGUKT iiit Basara admissions based on SSC GPA- RGUKT Notification 2025-2026 

Applications are invited for 1500 seats for admission to the first year of 6-Year Integrated B.Tech program at RGUKT Basar (Telangana State) for the academic year 2025-2026.

Admissions based on Class X GPA will be issued  for admission in Basra RGUKT in Nirmal district for the 2025-26 academic year  Board of Higher Education decided to reconsider and admit students based on the old system, the tenth grade GPA. To this end, the  RGUKT announced that admissions will be made on the basis of tenth class GPA.

The notification for the Admissions to 6-Year Integrated B. Tech Program – 2025-26 In Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (RGUKT) is released on 28th May 2025 at  RGUKT Basar.

TS RGUKT iiit Basara admissions based on SSC GPA Score: Admissions to the first year of Integrated B Tech Program (2025-26) will be based on merit in the Grade Point Average (GPA) and Grade obtained in each subject and by the statutory reservations of the State.

A deprivation score of 0.4 prescribed by the Government for the year 2025-26 under Statute 13 (3) shall be added to the 10th class GPA of those applicants who studied in non-residential Govemment Schools including the Zilla Parishad, Municipal Schools and the Model Schools with an objective of providing weightage to the socio-economically challenged students in the admission process.

Eligiblity for Admissions:

The 6-Year Integrated Engineering Course is divided into two categories:

a) Pre University Course (2 years): M.P.C course will be offered with following subjects:
a. Mathematics b. Physics
c. Chemistry d. English
e. Telugu / Sanskrit (Sanskrit will be offered for non Telugu students those who have not studied second language as Telugu)
f. Information Technology g. Environmental Science

b) B.Tech (4 years): Following Engineering streams are offered

a. Chemical Engineering
b. Civil Engineering
c. Computer Science & Engineering
d. Electronics & Communications Engineering e. Electrical & Electronics Engineering
f. Mechanical Engineering
g. Metallurgical & Materials Engineering

Admission:

a) Admission to the first year of 6-Year Integrated Engineering Programme in the University will be granted only after satisfactory verification and scrutiny of the details mentioned in the application form against the original certificates / documents submitted by the candidate at the time of counseling.. Mere selection for counseling and verification of certificates / documents will not guarantee a admission / seat.

b) Allotment of seat is based on data provided by the applicants and upon the verification of documents/certificates.

c) Convener, UG Admissions-2025 has every right to cancel admission if any discrepancies are found during the procedure of certificate verifications and data submitted by the applicant. 

Annual Fee:

a) The tuition fee for the candidates who studied in the schools of Telangana & Andhra Pradesh States is Rs.37,000/- per annum (It includes Rs.500/- examination fee per semester).

b) Students who are eligible for fee-reimbursement as per the guidelines issued by the respective State Governments need not pay the tuition fee (as per the latest Govt. rules eligible for the fee-reimbursement).

c) Every student has to pay a registration fee of Rs.1,000/- (Rs.500/- for SC/ST candidates) and a refundable caution deposit of Rs.2,000 (by all), Exam fee of Rs 1,000/- and medical insurance of Rs. 500/- approximately per annum for first two years (by all), that is a total of Rs.4,500/- (Rs 4,000/- in case of SC/ST candidates) at the time of admission. 

TS RGUKT IIIT Basara admissions 2025-2026 Selection Method:

a) Admissions will be based on merit in the Grade Point Average (GPA) and Grade obtained in each subject in 10th class, and by following the statutory reservations of the and as per the provisions of Presidential Order, 1974. A deprivation score of 0.4 prescribed by the Government under Statute 13 (3), shall be added to the normalized score of applicants from non-residential Government Schools including the Zilla Parishad and Municipal Schools for selection, with an objective of providing weightage to help the students from socially, economically deprived sections of the society for admissions.

Note: As specified in the Presidential Order 371 Article D in consonance to Section 95 of the A.P. Reorganization Act, 2014, 15% of the total seats shall be reserved for both the Telangana and Andhra Pradesh students and selection to these 15% seats shall be done on merit basis.

b) In case of a tie in score, it will be resolved by adopting the following options in that sequence:

(i) higher grade in Mathematics,
(ii) higher grade in General Science, (iii) higher grade in English,
(iv) higher grade in Social Studies, (v) higher grade in 1st Language,
(vi) older candidate as per the Date of Birth,
(vii) lowest random number obtained from the hall ticket number.
