IIIT Basara Admissions Notification 2026-27: TS RGUKT Notification 2026 – Telangana State Basar IIIT Notification 2026 Online Applications 

The notification for the Admissions to 6-Year Integrated B. Eligiblity for Admissions:

i. Candidates should have passed SSC (10th Class) or any other equivalent examinations in the first attempt, in the Year 2026, recognized by the concerned state Governments or State Government of Telangana.

ii. Candidates whose age is above 18 years as on 01.06.2026, (age relaxation of 3 years for SC/ST categories students and 5 years for students under PH categories) are not eligible to apply.

iii. International students having Indian Citizenship/ Persons of Indian Origin (PIO)/ Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card Holders for NRI students only.

TS RGUKT IIIT Basara admissions 2026-2027 Selection Method:

Admissions will be based on merit in total marks obtained and marks obtained in each subject in 10th class (SSC/Equivalent examination conducted in 2026), by following the statutory reservations of the State and the guidelines issued by RGUKT from time to time.

A deprivation score of 4 marks (4 % of maximum marks in the concerned subject) shall be added to each subject in the 10th class marks of those applicants who studied in non residential Government Schools including the Zilla Parishad and Municipal Schools of Telangana State, with an objective of providing weightage to the socio economically challenged students in the admission process.

In case of a tie in score, it will be resolved by adopting the following options in the following sequence:
a. Higher marks in Mathematics
b. Higher marks in General Science
c. Higher marks in English
d. Higher marks in Social Studies
e. Higher marks in 1st Language
f. Older candidate as per the Date of Birth
g. Lowest random number obtained from the hall ticket number

The process of submitting application comprises of the following steps:

i) Pay the application fee and get the Application ID after submitting basic details. ii) Fill the online Application.
iii) Print Application Form.

iv) Only PH/CAP/NCC/Sports applicants have to post their online printed application forms along with certificates

TS  RGUKT Basara IIIT  Online application form 2026 submission 

Courses Offered in 6-Year Integrated B.Tech Program

The 6-Year Integrated Engineering Course is divided into two categories:

a) Pre University Course (2 years): M.P.C course will be offered with following subjects:
a. Mathematics b. Physics
c. Chemistry d. English
e. Telugu / Sanskrit (Sanskrit will be offered for non Telugu students those who have not studied second language as Telugu)
f. Information Technology g. Environmental Science

b) B.Tech (4 years): Following Engineering streams are offered

a. Chemical Engineering
b. Civil Engineering
c. Computer Science & Engineering
d. Electronics & Communications Engineering e. Electrical & Electronics Engineering
f. Mechanical Engineering
g. Metallurgical & Materials Engineering

Admission:

a) Admission to the first year of 6-Year Integrated Engineering Programme in the University will be granted only after satisfactory verification and scrutiny of the details mentioned in the application form against the original certificates / documents submitted by the candidate at the time of counseling.. Mere selection for counseling and verification of certificates / documents will not guarantee a admission / seat.

b) Allotment of seat is based on data provided by the applicants and upon the verification of documents/certificates.

c) Convener, UG Admissions-2026 has every right to cancel admission if any discrepancies are found during the procedure of certificate verifications and data submitted by the applicant. 

Annual Fee:

a) The tuition fee for the candidates who studied in the schools of Telangana & Andhra Pradesh States is Rs.37,000/- per annum (It includes Rs.500/- examination fee per semester).

b) Students who are eligible for fee-reimbursement as per the guidelines issued by the respective State Governments need not pay the tuition fee (as per the latest Govt. rules eligible for the fee-reimbursement).

c) Every student has to pay a registration fee of Rs.1,000/- (Rs.500/- for SC/ST candidates) and a refundable caution deposit of Rs.2,000 (by all), Exam fee of Rs 1,000/- and medical insurance of Rs. 500/- approximately per annum for first two years (by all), that is a total of Rs.4,500/- (Rs 4,000/- in case of SC/ST candidates) at the time of admission.  

 

Admissions to 6-Year Integrated B. Tech Program-2026 in Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (RGUKT) releases, RGUKT Basar.

  • At RGUKT, Basar, admissions to 85% of the total available seats shall be reserved for the Local Candidates (Telangana State) and the remaining 15% of the seats shall be Unreserved (these seats will be filled with both the students of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh based on merit) as specified in the Presidential Order 371 Article D in consonance to Section 95 of the A.P. Reorganization Act, 2014.
  • Supernumerary seats to the extent of 5% are available under the Global Category for the students belonging to States other than Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and including the Children of Indians (all the States) working in Gulf Countries. The tuition fee for the Global Category is Rs.1,37,000/- per annum.
  • 2%supernumerary seats are available for International / NRI students.The tuition fee is Rs.3,01,000/- per annum.

TS RGUKT Basar IIIT  Admissions  2026 Counseling:

a) The candidates selected for the counseling shall report in person to the Convener, UG Admissions RGUKT – Basar, Nirmal District,Telangana State for the verification of their original certificates / documents and any details provided by the applicants in the application form.

b) Counseling and selection for admission of the candidates belonging to the Special Categories like Physically Challenged (PH), Children of Armed Personnel (CAP), NCC and Sports will be conducted in allotted dates of counseling at RGUKT- Basar.
