 Re-organisation School Complexes in Telangana- Guidelines & Instructions to MEOs. Guidelines for Re-organisation of School Complexes in Telangana. TSSA, Hyderabad – Planning & MIS – Reorganization of School Complexes in view of the formation of new Districts and Mandals

The DEO & Ex-officio DPOs are informed that reorganization of School Complexes is to be under taken in view of the formation of new districts and mandals in the state. Presently 1766 School Complexes (Cluster Resource Centers) are functioning in the state as approved by Project Approval Board of SSA, MHRD, Government of India. These 1766 School Complexes are spread over in 10 districts before reorganization of districts. Now, there is a need to reorganize the School Complexes in view of the following:

1. Formation of new districts / mandals
2. Shifting of certain mandals from one district to another district
3. Shifting of certain villages from one mandal to another mandal

Therefore, all the DEOs & Ex-officio DPOs are directed to reorganize the School Complexes in their districts keeping in view the above reasons and issue necessary instructions to their Mandal Educational Officers to reorganize the School Complexes in their respective mandals @ 1 School Complex for 18 schools (Govt, Local body and Aided schools) taking mandal as a unit duly following the guidelines as shown below:

Guidelines for Re-organisation School Complexes  in Telangana
1. School Complex should be invariably a high school with in the mandal.
2. The high school identified as school complex should have one additional classroom for conduct of meetings.
3. There should be one sanctioned post of Gazetted Headmaster.
4. The school should have electricity connection, television, ROT and computer facility.
5. The existing school complex need not be disturbed unless the boundaries of feeding schools are disturbed during reorganization of districts.
6. All the attached schools should be within a distance of 8 Kms. radius from the proposed school complex.
