TS EAMCET-II for MBBS and BDS(Dental) admissions 2016-2017| TSEAMCET.IN Telangana EAMCET 2016, Telangana EAMCET 2 for MBBS and BDS admissions 2016-2017, TS EAMCET 2 for filling MBBS and BDS Seats for 2016-2017.Telangana state Government has decided to conduct Telangana State Medical EAMCET-2 (TS EAMCET-2) for MBBS and BDS admissions 2016-2017 on 9th July 2016 and to be announce Results on 14th July.Telangana State Government has released the schedule for conducting EAMCET-2 on 9th July 2016 for filling MBBS and BDS seats in various colleges in the 10 districts for 2016-17 academic year. As per ordinance given by Indian Government NEET is exempted for this year, the government has decided to conduct EAMCET 2 for taking up admissions in Medical and Dental courses. Hence Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) is conducting its own entrance test for filling seats in government colleges and in the convener quota of private medical colleges.

TS EAMCET-1 has been conducted on 15th May 2016 only for Agriculture and Veterinary Sciences. After conducting a high-level meeting at the Secretariat with the officials of Medical and Health department Minister for Medical and Health ,Telangana State Council of Higher Education released the schedule.
TS EAMCET-II-2016 Notification:
TS EAMCET 2 Notification 2016 has been released by JNTU Hyd on 28-05-2016 for admission into MBBS and BDS (Dental) courses for the academic year 2016-2017 and online applications are invited from the eligible candidates for admission into Under Graduate Medical Courses in Govt Colleges and Convener quota in Private Colleges for 2016-17.TS EAMCET-2 Hall tickets can be downloaded from July 2nd to July 7th. The exam will be held on 09-07-2016 from 10 am to 1 pm. The preliminary key of EAMCET-2 will be released in the evening of the day the examination is conducted and the objections to the preliminary key will be heard and considered up to July 12. The results will be announced on 14th July 2016.

Entrance Test:
Medical Common Entrance Test -2016 (TS EAMCET-II– 2016) will be conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH) for entry into the first year MBBS & BDS courses only (Government Colleges and Convener quota in Private Colleges) offered for the academic year 2016-2017 in the State of Telangana.


Eligibility Criteria:
1.Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of the Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany and Zoology) / Biotechnology and English
2. Individually and must have obtained 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany and Zoology) / Biotechnology at the qualifying examination.
3. In respect of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste and Schedule Tribe & Backward Classes, the marks obtained shall be a minimum of 40% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany and Zoology) / Biotechnology.

Age Limit:
Candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission.

How to Apply:
TS EAMCET-II– 2016 application should be submitted through ONLINE mode only.Candidates with Biology, Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects in their Intermediate or its equivalent course should submit online application for MBBS / BDS courses.


Registration Fee:
Rs.250/- for SC/ST candidates
Rs.500/- for others

The candidates who have secured qualifying marks in TS EAMCET-II-2016 and candidates belonging to the category of SC and ST , for whom qualifying marks have not been prescribed, shall be assigned ranking in the order of merit on the basis of combined score obtained by giving 75% weightage to the marks secured in TS EAMCET-II-2016 and 25% weightage to the marks secured in the relevant group subjects namely Biology, Physics, Chemistry of the qualifying examination.
