Eligibility Criteria for Degree College Principal Posts in TSWREIS:

Applicants must possess the qualifications from a recognized University/ Institution as detailed below or equivalent thereto and Experience as specified in the relevant Bye Laws/ Service Regulations, indented by the Telangana Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society (TSWREIS) as on the date of Notification.

Academic Qualifications: 
Candidate must possess a Master’s Degree with 55% and above or its equivalent Degree or Grade of B in the 7 point scale with letter grades O, A, B, C, D, E and F obtained from the Universities recognized in India and Must possess PhD or equivalent qualification.

Experience:
i) A regular Principal in Government / Aided / Telangana State Welfare Residential Degree Colleges (Residential Educational Societies). OR
ii) 5 years as regular Lecturer in Government / Aided/ Telangana State Welfare Residential Degree Colleges (Residential Educational Societies). OR
iii) 7 years as Lecturer in Private unaided or Self Financed Degree Colleges. OR
iv) 7 years as Contract Lecturer in Government Degree Colleges/ Telangana State Welfare Residential Degree Colleges (Residential Educational Societies). OR
v) 7 years as Academic Consultant in University Degree/ Post Graduate Colleges of Telangana State. OR
vi) 5 years as regular Principal in Government / Aided/ Telangana State Welfare Residential Junior Colleges (Residential Educational Societies). OR
vii) 7 years as regular Junior Lecturer in Government / Aided/ Telangana State Welfare Residential Junior Colleges (Residential Educational Societies). OR
viii) 9 years as Junior Lecturer in Private unaided or Self Financed Junior Colleges. OR
ix) 9 years as Contract Junior Lecturer in Government Junior Colleges/Telangana State Welfare Residential Junior Colleges (Residential Educational Societies).

Desirable: Knowledge of Computer Applications

Age Limit for Degree Principal Posts: Minimum age is 34 years and maximum age is 44 years. The maximum age is limited to 50 years including all relaxations as on 1st July of the year in which the notification is issued. The upper age limit relaxable as per the TS Govt norms.

Application Fee for TSWREIS Degree College Principal Posts:
Each applicant must pay Rs. 2,000/- (Rupees Two Thousand Only) towards Application Processing Fee. However, local applicants of Telangana State belonging to SC, ST, BC and PH have to pay Rs. 1,200/- (Rupees One Thousand Two hundred only) each towards application processing fee.
Note: SC, ST and BCs belonging to other States are not entitled to any fee concession and they are not entitled to any kind of reservation.

Principal Degree College: The procedure of Selection :
With minimum scores for APIs (Academic Performance Indicators) for Direct Recruitment of Principal Degree College in REIs is considered along with specified qualifications stipulated:
Consolidated API score requirement of 300 points from category -III
a) Academic Background (20%)
b) Research performance based on API score and quality of publications (40%)
c) Assessment of Domain knowledge and teaching skills (20%)
d) Interview performance (20%)
API scores will be considered as recommended by UGC norms
