TS CPGET 2023 Common PG Entrance tests Notification

Online Applications are invited from the candidates who have passed or appearing for the final semester (year) examination in the qualifying degree / Intermediate for entrance tests and admission into various P.G. Courses (M.A., M.Sc., M.Com., MCJ, M.Lib.Sc., M.Ed., M.P.Ed., etc.), P.G. Diploma Course and 5 yrs. Integrated Programmes (M.A., M.Sc., MBA) offered by Osmania, Kakatiya, Telangana, Mahatma Gandhi, Palamuru, Satavahana, Telangana Mahila Viswavidyalayam and Jawaharlal Nehru Technological Universities in their campus, constituent and affiliated colleges for the academic year 2023-24. The Entrance test will be conducted online through Computer Based Test (CBT). For further details, go through the Information Brochure available in the websites: www.osmania.ac.in or https://cpget.tsche.ac.in or www.ouadmissions.com

TS CPGET 2023 Courses offered: 

• a) P.G. Courses (M.A., M.Sc., M.Com., MCJ, M.Lib.Sc., M.Ed., M.P.Ed., etc.), . 
• b) P.G. Diploma courses 
• c)   5 yrs. Integrated Programmes (M.A., M.Sc., MBA)

a. Candidates who have completed degree with single subject in open/distance mode of education are not eligible for P.G. Courses.
b. Candidates qualified in CPGET-2023 are eligible for admissions into Campus, Constituent and Affiliated colleges of Osmania, Kakatiya, Telangana, Mahatma Gandhi, Palamuru, Satavahana and Jawaharlal Nehru Technological Universities.
c. B.Com candidates are not eligible for M.A. Economics
d. For M.A languages courses, Degrees like B.E., B. Tech., B. Pharm. etc are not eligible
e. The candidates with other than B.A. / B.Sc. / B.Com. qualification like B.E., B. Tech., B. Pharmacy, LLB (5 yrs), B.C.A., etc. must go through the eligibility conditions before applying to ensure their eligibility.
f. B.Pharm. / B.Sc.(MLT) / B.Sc. (Nursing) / B.Sc. (Ag) / B.Sc. (Home Science) / B.Tech. / B.E. Graduates are not eligible for M.Sc. Courses. However, B.E./B.Tech graduates are eligible for M.Sc. (GeoInformatics).
g. B.E., & B.Tech, etc; candidates are not eligible for M.Sc. Computer Science and M.Sc.Mathematics.
h. Not with standing anything contained in this Information Brochure, the rules and regulations that are in force in the University at the time of admissions shall be final and binding.
i. All disputes pertaining to CPGET-2023 shall fall within the court’s jurisdiction of Hyderabad only.

Registration Fee : 

The registration fee for a single subject is Rs.800/- for OC/BC candidates and Rs.600/- for SC/ST/PH candidates. For each additional subject, the fee is Rs.450/- for all categories.  

Payment of Registration Fee:
The registration fee may be paid at any TS/AP Online Centers or through payment gateway (Credit Card /
Debit Card / Net Banking).

1. The entrance tests in all the subjects will be of 90 minutes duration the question paper consists of 100 objective (multiple choice only) type questions for 100 marks.
2. The entrance test will consist of any 3 or 4 varieties of objective type items such as analogies, classification, matching, comprehension of a research study / experiment / theoretical point of view, etc., with multiple answers besides the usual multiple choice items. The items will be framed only from the syllabus of entrance test.
3. Forensic Science, Genetics and Microbiology is as follows. Candidates have to appear for a common entrance test, namely BCESFSG&M comprising of Part-A (Chemistry for 40 Marks) and Part-B (One of the optional studied at B.Sc. level among the optional subjects: Physics, Botany, Zoology, Genetics, Microbiology and Biochemistry) for 60 Marks.
4. Pattern of Entrance Test for Admissions into M.Sc.Bio-Technology comprising of Part-A (Chemistry for 40 marks) and part-B (Bio Technology for 60 Marks).

Candidates should note that the TS CPGET Hall Tickets and TS CPGET Rank Cards have to be downloaded from the websites. TS CPGET Schedules for exercising web based options, certificate verification and other related information will be made available only through websites. No personal intimation in this regard will be sent to the candidates either by post or by mail.

TS CPGET Results, Certificate Verification and counselling: 

The candidates has to attend for TS CPGET Certificate Verification in any designated centres. Admissions are conducted through a process of web based counselling. The qualified candidates have to exercise options through web in the order of their preference. The schedule for certificate verification will be announced after declaring the results.
