TS GO 54, DSE TS Rc 51 Promoting 1st to 9th Class students to next higher Classes in the Academic Year 2020-21
Telanganan state Government has been issued GO Rt No 54, on 5th May2020 promoting the 1st to 9th class students studying in Government, Aided and Private Unaided Schools during the Academic Year, 2019-20, to next higher Classes in the Academic Year, 2020-21 as the detention policy is not in force in the state without conducting exams. Because of corona, they did not perform tests (SA-2). Relating to this Director os school education Telangana DSE has issued Proceedings Rc.No.51/Genl.2/2020 Dt: 06.05.2020 for Promoting all the students of Class I to IX studying in Govt.Aided,Private&Unaided Schools during the Academic year 2019-20 to next higher classes in the Academic year 2020-21.

పరీక్షలు నిర్వహించకుండానే రాష్ట్రంలో 1 నుంచి 9వ తరగతి వరకు చదువుతున్న విద్యార్థులను పైతరగతులకు ప్రమోట్ చేస్తూ విద్యాశాఖ ప్రత్యేక ప్రధాన కార్యదర్శి చిత్రా రామచంద్రన్ జీఓ జారీ చేశారు. కరోనా కారణంగా వీరికి పరీక్షలు(ఎస్ఏ-2) నిర్వహించలేదు. డిటెన్షన్ విధానం కూడా అమల్లో లేనందున వారిని వచ్చే విద్యాసంవత్సరం పైతరగతులకు పంపించాలని ప్రభుత్వం ఇటీవల ప్రకటించిన సంగతి తెలిసిందే.

ORDER
1. In the references 2ndto 4thread above, Government of Telangana imposed a state-wide lockdown from 22.03.2020 to 07.05.2020 to prevent and contain the spread of COVID-19 pandemic.
2. In the reference 5thread above, the Commissioner of School Education, Telangana, Hyderabad informed that that the Hon’ble Chief Minister, Telangana State announced that as there is no detention system for classes I to IX in the State, there is no need to conduct examinations and all the students areto be promoted to the next higher classes for theacademic year 2020-21, as the Summative Assessment (SA-2) examinations for Classes I to IX during the Academic Year, 2019-20 could not be conducted as scheduled in the reference 1stread above due to lockdown and requested the Government to issue necessary orders in the matter.
3. Government, after careful examination of the matter and keeping in view of hardship caused due to Covid-19 pandemic, hereby decide to cancel the Summmative Assessment–II Examinations for the Classes I to IX and order to promote all the students of Classes I to IX studying in Government, Aided and Private Unaided Schools during the Academic Year, 2019-20, to next higher Classes in the Academic Year, 2020-21.
4. The Commissioner of School Education, Telangana, Hyderabad shall take necessary action in the matter, accordingly.
