TS TET 2024 Syllabus, Exam Pattern -Telangana State Teachers Eligibility Test paper-1, paper-2  Scheme of Exam

TET Stands for Teacher Eligibility Test and is a qualifying examination for teachers. TET was introduced by the Government of India in order to improve the standards in teaching.  For teachers already working, they are supposed to clear the exam in two years time. TET is mandatory for getting teaching jobs in government schools from Class 1 to Class 8. All graduates, including B.A, B.Sc, B.Com etc. are eligible to take the test. All B. Ed. graduates need to pass this exam to work as a teacher. A candidate has to score qualifying marks to clear the eligibility test. There will be two Papers in this exam. Paper-I is meant for teachers opting for Class 1 to Class 5 and Paper-II for Class 6 to Class 8. TET Exam is conducted by both Central government and State governments in India. Most states conduct their own TET Examination. The National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) maintains the database.

TS TET Syllabus 2024 – Telangana State Teachers Eligibility Test  Exam Pattern 2024

The Government of Telangana will conduct Telangana State Teachers Eligibility Test (TS TET) 2024 also known as Telangana TET, as per the formalities laid down by the central regulating authorities. TS TET is for the candidates aspiring to become teachers in primary (class I -V) and upper primary (VI-VIII) schools in the state of Telangana. The TS TET notification will be released officially in March 2024 and then the online application will start from 27.03.2024 to 10.04.2024. Telangana State is planning to conduct the examination TS-TET-2024 ONLINE as Computer Based Test between 20.05.2024 and 03.06.2024 in the 11 districts of the state and later it will conduct the DSC examination for the Aspirants who qualified in TS TET 2024. Telangana State (TS TET) Exam Pattern 2024:

The Telangana TET Exam Pattern is as follows:
1. The TS TET Exam will be conducted in 2 papers.
2. The candidates who intend to be teachers for class I to V have to appear for Paper I and the candidates who intend to be teachers for class VI to VIII have to appear for Paper II.
3. The candidates who intend to be teachers for class I to VIII have to appear for both  papers, i.e. Paper I and Paper II.

Telangana State TET Exam consists of the following subjects for paper-I:
1. Child Development and Pedagogy.
2. Language I.
3. Language II.
4. Mathematics.
5. Environmental Studies.
