TS TET 2024 Guidelines Conduct of TS-TET (Telangana State Teacher Eligibility Test) Conduct of TS-TET  Certain amendments to guidelines for conducting Telangana State Teachers Eligibility Test   

 School Education — Conduct of TS-TET (Telangana State Teacher Eligibility Test) – Certain amendments to guidelines for conducting Telangana State Teachers Eligibility Test issued – Permission to conduct TS-TET.  The Validity Period of TET qualifying certificates for appointment, unless otherwise notified by the Government of Telangana, would remain valid for life. This provision will have retrospective effect from the date of enforcement of TET Guidelines i.e., 11.02.2011. Graduation with at least 50% marks, however in case of SC/ST/BC/Differently Abled candidates, the minimum marks shall be 45% AND pass in Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) /Bachelor of Education(Speclal Education) are eligible to appear TS TET Paper 1. A person who has acquired the qualification of Bachelor of Education from any NCTE recognized institution shall be considered for appointment as a teacher in classes I to V provided the person so appointed as a teacher shall mandatorily undergo a six month Bridge Course in Elementary Education recognized by the NCTE, within two years of such appointment as primary teacher’.  In the reference 4th cited, Government have issued certain amendments to the guidelines for conducting Telangana State Eligibility Test(TS TET) issued vide G.0 Ms No.36, School Education (Trg) Dept., dt.23. 12.2015.

 In view of the recommendation of the Group of Ministers vide reference 2nd cited and in the circumstances reported by the Director of School Education, Telangana, Hyderabad vide reference 3rd cited, Government hereby accord permission to the Director of School Education & Chairperson, TET Committee for conducting Telangana State Teacher Eligibility Test(TS-TET) at the earliest, as per the orders issued vide reference 1st & 4th cited.

ORDER:-

In the reference lit read above, Guidelines /Instructions were issued for conducting Telangana State Teacher Eligibility Test (TS TET) under the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act (RTE) 2009. 2. In the reference 4th read above, the Director of School Education & Chairman, TS TET, Telangana, Hyd., has proposed certain amendments to the Guidelines /Instructions issued in the  GO 1st read above, in pursuance of NCTE, New Delhi guidelines vide references 2nd & 3rd read above.

3. Government, after careful examination of the proposal and in pursuance of the guidelines issued by the NCTE, New Delhi, hereby issue following amendments to the G.O Ms No.36, School Education (Trg) Department, dt.23.12.2015.

AMENDMENTS

Under Rule 1. Eligibility criteria for candidates for appearing TS TET 

 

Under Rule 9. qualifying marks in TET. issue of Memos/Certificates and their validity.

Existing   Amendment

Rule 9 (c):

The validity of Certificates shall be for a period of 7 years from the date of TET concerned.

Rule 9 (c):

The Validity Period of TET qualifying certificates for appointment, unless otherwise notified by the Government of Telangana, would remain valid for life. This provision will have retrospective effect from the date of enforcement of TET Guidelines i.e., 11.02.2011.

The Director of School Eduction and Director, SCERT, Telangana, Hyd., shall take necessary action accordingly.
