TELANGANA STATE LEVEL POLICE RECRUITMENT BOARD DGP OFFICE COMPLEX, LAKDI-KA-PUL, HYDERABAD Rc No. 45 / Rect. / Admn.1 / 2022 Date: 28th April 2022

The Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board (TSLPRB) invites Applications through ONLINE mode only in the prescribed proforma which will be made available on Website (www.tslprb.in) from 2nd May 2022 to 20th May 2022 for recruitment to the following Posts.

TS Transport Constable (HO/LC)  Eligibility Conditions/ Eligibility for examination

A. Eligibility by Gender: Men and Women are eligible for the Post Code Nos. 41 and 42.

B. Age Limit (General):

i) Must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 22 years as on 1st July, 2022 i.e., must have been born not earlier than 2nd July, 2000 and not later than 1st July, 2004. However, the Government of Telangana vide GO Ms No. 48, General Administration (Services-A) Department dated 13-04-
2022 have raised the upper age limit prescribed for direct recruitment by 3 (three years) for uniformed services including Transport Department. This relaxation is in addition to the upper age limit as mentioned above.

ii) In the case of a Widow, a Divorced Woman or a Woman judicially separated from her husband and who is not remarried,

a) SC & ST Candidates must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 40 years as on 1st July, 2022 i.e., she must have been born not earlier than 2nd July, 1982 and not later than 1st July,
2004.However, the Government of Telangana vide GO Ms No. 48, General Administration (Services-A) Department dated 13-04-2022 have raised the upper age limit prescribed for direct recruitment by 3 (three years)for uniformed services including Transport Department. This relaxation is in addition to the upper age limit as mentioned above.

b) In all other cases (other than SC & ST), the Candidate must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 35 years as on 1st July, 2022 i.e., she must have been born not earlier than 2nd July, 1987 and not later than 1st July, 2004. However, the Government of Telangana vide GO Ms No. 48, General Administration (Services-A) Department dated 13-04-2022 have raised the upper age limit prescribed for direct recruitment by 3(three years) for uniformed services including Transport Department. This relaxation is in addition to the upper age limit as mentioned above.

Relaxation in Upper Age Limit: The Upper age limit prescribed above is however relaxable as per govt orders as mentioned in detailed notification.

Educational Qualification:

i) Academic qualification:  Must  have  passed  Intermediate  or  its  equivalent examination recognized by the State Government as on 1st July 2022.

ii) Technical Qualification: Must possess a Motor Driving License to drive Light Motor Vehicle as on the Date of Notification

SELECTION PROCEDURE / SCHEME

The Selection Procedure / Scheme of the Examination will be as follows —
A) Preliminary Written Test (PWT): All the eligible registered Candidates shall be required to appear for the Preliminary Written Test in one paper (three hours duration) for 200 marks (200 Questions). Hall Ticket will be issued Online for this purpose. Syllabus for the PWT is given at Annexure – I.

Note: 1) The minimum marks to be secured by the Candidates in order to qualify in the Preliminary Written Test paper is 30% for all categories i.e., OCs / BCs / SCs / STs / Ex. Servicemen

B) Physical Efficiency Test and Physical Measurements  

i) 1600 meters / 800 meters Run Event:
ii. Physical Measurements
iii. Long Jump / Shot-put Events

C) Final Written Examination (FWE): Candidates who qualify in the above Physical Efficiency Test shall be required to appear for the Final Written Examination for 1(one) paper of 3 (three) hours duration for 200 marks (200 questions). The syllabus is given in Annexure II.
