Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL) is the corporate entity of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (VSP), India’s first shore-based integrated Steel Plant built with state-of-the-art technology and a prime producer of long steel products in the country having extensive market in infrastructure, construction, automobile, electrical and forging industry. With an annual turnover of over Rs16000 crores, VSP is gearing up production to achieve rated capacity of 7.3 Mtpa liquid steel having three Captive Mines and 25 Marketing Branches Pan India. Forged Wheel Plant is another unit of RINL being setup at Raebareli, UP.

Qualifications for Junior Trainee Posts
Matric / SSC with full time ITI / Diploma in Engineering in the following Trades/ Disciplines (60% marks in regular ITI / Diploma in Engineering for Gen/OBC-NCL candidates, 50% marks for SC/ST/PWD candidates in all subjects of all semesters / years)

Scheme of Examination
RINL will conduct Test through online mode, consisting of questions from the topics given under:
General Aptitude (Reasoning, Arithmetic and Data Interpretation)
General Knowledge
Knowledge of English
Domain Specific Technical Knowledge (depending on applied post)
The test pattern asked in the online exam will be of objective type questions and the exam questions will be in English & Telugu, except the Knowledge of English section, questions will be only in English language.
The Exam Duration will be 2 hours; total number of questions will be 150
The pattern of test is Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) only, with 4 choices for answer out of which only 1 will be the correct answer.

How to Apply Online for Junior Trainee Posts at Vizag Steel Plant
STEP 1: Log on to www.vizagsteel.com and click on the link “Careers”
STEP 2: Click on the registration link pertaining to Junior Trainee Recruitment (Rectt Advt No. 06/2018).
STEP 3: Have the following readily available:
a) E-mail ID & Mobile Number to be valid for minimum period of next Twelve Months for receiving advices, viz. Call letters etc.
b) Latest passport size photograph in digital format (.jpg/.jpeg file of 20 KB to 60 KB size) and digital format of the signature (.jpg/.jpeg file of 10 KB to 30 KB size) for uploading with the application form. The recommended dimensions of the passport photograph are 150(W) X 200(H) pixels. The recommended dimensions of digital format of the signature is 150(W) X 50(H) pixels
c) Candidates are advised not to do the Online submission of Application through mobile phone, which may cause erroneous entry of data.
STEP 4: Registration
a) Read the instructions carefully before starting the Online Application form
b) Fill the basic registration form and note down the Registration Number.
c) Login and fill detailed application form
d) Upload digital photo & signature.
e) Make Payment of Fee through Credit card/Debit Card, Net-banking. (as applicable)
f) Print Confirmation Page after Successful remittance of fee for those it’s applicable.
g) After successful submission of application, the registration slip should be downloaded from Applicant dashboard.
