What is APSAMS??
APSAMS is a portal to apply for online admissions in any Degree Colleges in Andhra Pradesh by the students for different courses in Andhra Pradesh. Online admission process, which is carried out through Internet (Online) is called as e-Admission.
Objective
The objectives of APSAMS are;
– Ensure single window system for admission through e-Admission process.
– Make admissions for student / parents / guardians economical.
– Reduce the workload of the Colleges using online admissions.
e-Admissions
e-Admission aims at successful use of Information Technology to make the admission process simple, economical, fast and transparent. This process is accomplished by the use of Computers and Internet An eligible applicant will have to apply ONLINE for a maximum of FIVE options through www.dheap.in by filling up required personal and academic details, choices of different colleges and streams in order of preference.
Principals of Selection
Eligibility:
1. The minimum eligibility for admission to +3 classes shall be a pass in Intermediate / Board of Secondary Education, AP or equivalent.
2. Admission into various Streams & Colleges shall be done strictly on the basis of merit.
3. Marks secured at the Intermediate/ Board of Intermediate Examination out of the Total Marks, Reservation (if applicable) will be taken into consideration in preparing the merit list.
4. Any applicant, if selected, will be given only one confirmed seat according to her/his choice of preferences in CAF in the intimation letter after 1st selection.
1. Applicant produces the all-relevant certificates in duplicate and also original certificates for verification at selected college.
2. Selected applicants to take the intimation letter to selected college and pay the fee and get the admission.

6. Last Date for payment of admission Fees at the college: 05.06.2018 (Tuesday) by 5.00 PM
7. Re-opening of Online application for Instant Candidates: I week of June
8. Last date for online applications for Instant candidates II week of June
9. Spot admissions at respective colleges 10.06.2018 at 10.00 AM
Common Application Form (CAF)
The CAF has been so designed that, an applicant can apply to any of the Government and Aided Degree Colleges of the State in one form. An applicant has to fill it up ONLINE by logging on to the website of Higher Education Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh www.cceinfo.ap.gov.in. An applicant can exercise up to five choices of college & stream in order of preferences where one would like to study. Applicants being passed qualifying examination from any Board, have to fill in all necessary fields of their own.
Selection Process
The software shall process all applications and finalise the 1st selection list for each of the colleges as per the merit and choice of the applicants. The selection list shall be published on the predetermined date.
The intimation letters for selected applicants will be sent to their mail id’s (if provided in the CAF) and take the admission at the particular college on the data mentioned there in.

Intimation will be sent to the selected applicants in different modes.

Where to apply Online?
As the CAF is available in the Commissionerate of Collegiate Education website www.cceinfo.ap.gov.in, it can be accessed in the cybercafé, MeeSeva and any other place having internet connectivity.

How to apply Online?
Then go the Higher Education Department website www.cceinfo.ap.gov.in, and click on the Online Application Form in its home page. You may also go through the video instruction regarding filling up of the CAF before you start the process of filling in. Now fill-up the CAF online on the computer screen. Upload your recent passport size colour photograph and signature image in the space provided for the same. Uploading of photograph and signature is mandatory.
How to add more Options?
The provision of “Options” is given in the last part of the online application form.
An applicant can apply for a maximum of five Options in the CAF.
In order to add more than option, applicant has to click on “Add” button, which is available for each course display on the screen.
Then s/he has to select the desired college/stream from the drop down list and select the priority and click on it. After adding all the options, s/he has to click on the “Next” button. Please note that, applicants submitting in two or more Common Application Form (CAF) are liable to be rejected.
How to modify information in a CAF?
An applicant can modify any provided information by clicking “Back” and “Next” buttons, also an applicant can login to the application by providing Application Number, DOB and Hall Ticket Number any time before date line.
Printing of CAF:
Click on “Print Application” button to view the CAF to be printed. Take printout. Applicants also sent an e-mail attachment can download any time and print.
Fee Structure of Application:
The applicant will pay Rs 177/- per application in Meeseva. The Challan can be downloaded in the last step of the application process or an e-mail attachment. Applicant must carry printout to nearest MeeSeva center to pay the application fee along with After printing the Meeseva Challan, take the printout and go to nearest Meeseva centre and pay the fee and keep the copy of the Challan with you. If anybody is not paying the Meeseva Challan then they are not eligible to participate in the online admission and seats will not be allocated.

Dos / Don’ts:
After applying on-line, the applicant has to take print outs of “College Copy” & “Applicant Copy” and submit them at College while admission.
Applicant should fill up options e.g. college & stream in order of preference very carefully.

Applicant has to write “submitted by me” and sign in all the supporting documents submitted along with the “College Copy” of the CAF.
