Registered Mobile Number

• Registered mobile number is essential to access Aadhaar Online Services
• You can verify your mobile number that has been declared at the time of enrolment or during latest Aadhaar detail update.

• If you have not registered your Mobile number while enrolling for Aadhaar, you are required to visit a Permanent Enrolment Centre to get it registered.
• Enabling Aadhaar for various services like Government & Non-Government Services, Subsidy Benefits, Pensions, Scholarships, Social Benefits, Banking services, Insurance services, Taxation services, Education, Employment, Healthcare etc., makes it essential to ensure that Aadhaar data of the resident stored in the CIDR is accurate and up-to-date.

Demographic data update, the need could arise from:

1. Changes in life events such as marriage may lead to residents changing their basic demographic details such as name and address. Address and mobile number could also change due to migration to newer locations. Residents may also want changes in their relative’s details due to changes in life events such marriage, death of a relative etc. In addition, residents could have other personal reasons to change their mobile number, email address etc.
2. Changes in various service delivery platforms may lead residents to declaration request changes and to add mobile number to CIDR etc.
3. Errors made during the enrolment process wherein the resident’s demographic data may have been captured incorrectly. Changes to “DoB/Age” and “Gender” fields are expected primarily due to enrolment errors.
4. Since a resident can enrol anywhere in India, it may happen that a native speaker of language “A” is enrolled by an operator of language “B” and consequently the resident’s local language of enrolment is “B”. Later, the resident may want to change the local language of enrolment to another that he/she prefers. If so, then all the demographic information that is printed on the Aadhaar letter will need to be updated in the new local language.
5. UIDAI may also ascertain availability of POI, POA and other documents collected at the time of enrolment/update and its quality and decide to notify resident to update their demographic information and submit the required document.

What Aadhaar Data can be updated Online ?
Following Demographic Data can be updated online.

1. Name
2. Date of Birth
3. Gender
4. Address
5. Language

*For other updates like Head of Family/Guardian details or Biometric update, resident will be required to visit Aadhaar Seva Kendra or Enrolment/Update Centre

Gender: Once in Life Time

Date of Birth : Once in life time subject to condition that present status of the D0B is declared/approximate. (Change in Date of Birth can be updated only for unverified DoB.

 

Each of the data type update requires following Verification Requirements.

For Name : Scanned copy of Poof of Identity (PoI)

For Date of Birth : Scanned copy of Poof of Date of Birth

For Gender: OTP authentication via mobile/Face Auth

For Address : Scanned copy of Poof of Address (PoA)*.

For Language : Not Required

* Resident can update address even if they do not possess PoA document by requesting for .

The Aadhar card is a document that contains information such as your name, birth date, permanent residential address, gender, profession and marital status. As the card is beneficial for various purposes such as applying for a passport, opening bank accounts and availing LPG subsidies, you must ensure that the information in it is correct.

2. Go to My Aadhaar Section

4. Click on Proceed to Update Aadhaar

6. You Receive an OTP to your Registered mobile Number from Aadhaar

How to change Date of Birth in Aadhar card?

How to update DOB on Aadhaar card

• – Visit the nearest Aadhaar enrolment centre.
• – Fill in the Aadhaar update form and mention your date of birth on it.
• – You need not mention the date of birth that is printed on the card.
• – In order to change your date of birth, you will have to submit proof of the correct date of birth with the form.
• – The executive at the enrolment centre will take the biometrics and will authenticate your identity.
• – He will then hand over an acknowledgment slip to you.
• – The acknowledgment slip will have an URN which you can use to check your Aadhaar update request
• – You now have to pay a fee of Rs 25 at the centre.
• – Your date of birth will be updated within 90 days and you will receive your new Aadhaar card at your registered address.
• – The supported proof for date of birth corrections include certificate of birth, passport of the applicant, SSLC certificate/ book, or date of birth certificate on a letterhead issued by a gazetted officer.

Steps to make name correction in Aadhaar online

It’s possible for you to change your name in your Aadhaar card online. Sometimes, there is a mistake in the name due to a typing error by the official or due to an error made by you while filling the enrolment form. However, you can get your name corrected in Aadhaar online. Here is what you need to do.

– Visit the Aadhaar self-service update portal SSUP
– You will now have to click on Update Aadhaar.
– Now provide your 12-digit Aadhaar card number.
– You will now have to enter the text verification code in the box and then click on send OTP.
– You will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number.
– You need to enter the OTP in order to login to the Aadhaar account.
– You can also use the TOTP feature for the purpose of authentication.
– Now choose what you want to update and click on the Submit Update Request button.
– Tick the declaration and click on Proceed.
– You will have to upload a document as a proof for the purpose of verification and then click on Submit.
– The BPO service provider will verify if the details match with the proof attached by you and will then forward the request to UIDAI. If the request is updated, you will receive an acknowledgement slip with a URN.
– You can download the latest version of Aadhaar and use URN to check the status.

Steps to make name correction in Aadhaar offline

If you want to make a correction in your name in Aadhaar offline, you need to follow the steps mentioned below.

– First, download and then fill the Aadhaar correction form.
– Fill in the correct name in your form and submit it with relevant identity proof.
– Submit the form at the nearest Aadhaar enrolment centre with a fee of Rs 25.
– The executive at the centre will update the request and will give you an acknowledgement slip with a URN.
– Use this URN to check the status of your request.
– You will receive a new Aadhaar card within 90 days of making the request.

How to update Address on Aadhaar card?

Incorrect Address on Aadhar Card? Here’s how you can update your adderess on Aadhar Card Online/Offline by following these simple steps.  

Step 1. Visit the Aadhaar Self Service Update Portal
Step 2. If you have valid address proof click on “Update Address” else “Request for Address Validation Letter”
Step 3. In the new window (https://ssup.uidai.gov.in/web/guest/update), enter your 12-digit Aadhaar number
Step 4. Enter the text verification code in the box and click on Send OTP or Enter OTP
Step 5. An OTP will be sent to the mobile number registered in UIDAI’s database.
Step 6. Enter this OTP to login to your Aadhaar account
Step 7. Alternately, you can use the TOTP feature to authenticate
Step 8. Tick the Address option and click on the Submit button
Step 9. Enter your residential address mentioned in the Proof of Address (PoA) and click on the “Submit Update Request” button
Step 10. In case you want to modify your address, click the “Modify” option
Step 11. Now tick the declaration and click on the “Proceed” button
Step 12. Select the document type you want to submit as PoA for verification and upload the scanned copy of the address proof and click on the “Submit” button
Step 13. Click on the “Yes” button and select the BPO service provider that will verify your details and click on Submit
Step 14. The BPO service provider inspects if the details mentioned in the form matches with the POA and forward your request to UIDAI. Your update request is then accepted and an Acknowledgement Slip is provided to you

The Acknowledgement Slip contains the Update Request number (URN). Once updated, you can download the updated version and get your Aadhar card print out.

➧అయితే పేరు, పుట్టినతేదీ, చిరునామా మార్చుకోవాలంటే మాత్రం సంబంధింత పత్రాలు అవసరమని ఉడాయ్‌ మరోసారి స్పష్టం చేసింది.
➤పాస్‌పోర్టు, పాన్‌ కార్డ్‌, డ్రైవింగ్‌ లైసెన్స్‌, ఓటర్‌ ఐడీ, రేషన్‌ కార్డు, బ్యాంక్‌ పాస్‌బుక్‌, పదో తరగతి ఉత్తీర్ణత పత్రం ఇలా ఏదో ఒక డాక్యుమెంట్‌ ఇవ్వాలని పేర్కొంది.

ఇప్పటివరకు ఆధార్‌లో ఏవైనా మార్పులు చేసుకోవాలంటే అవస్థలే. ఆధార్‌ కేంద్రాల వద్ద రోజుల తరబడి నిరీక్షించాల్సి వచ్చేది. పరిమిత సంఖ్యలో టోకెన్లు ఇస్తుండటంతో ఇబ్బందులు అన్నీఇన్నీకావు. వీటన్నింటినీ గుర్తించిన కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం అక్కడికి వెళ్లకనే చిరునామా మార్చుకొనేలా వెసులుబాటు కల్పించింది. తగిన ధ్రువపత్రాన్ని ఆన్‌లైన్‌లో డౌన్‌లోడ్‌ చేసి చిరునామాను మార్చుకునే అవకాశాన్ని కల్పించింది.

కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం ప్రతి పౌరుడికి వ్యక్తిగత ఆధార్‌ను 12 అంకెల నంబరుతో కేటాయించడంతోపాటు గుర్తింపు కార్డులను జారీ చేసింది. ఇందులో పేర్లు, చిరునామా, పుట్టిన తేదీ, తండ్రి, భర్త పేరు, ఫోన్‌ నంబరు, మెయిల్‌ తదితర వివరాల మార్పులు, చేర్పుల కోసం ఆధార్‌ కేంద్రాలైన తపాలా, బ్యాంకుల చుట్టూ తిరగాల్సి వస్తోంది.

పేరు, పుట్టిన తేదీ, ఫోన్‌ నంబరు నమోదు, మార్పులకు తప్పనిసరిగా ఆధార్‌ కేంద్రానికి వెళ్లి బయోమెట్రిక్‌ వేయాల్సి ఉంది. పేరులో తప్పులను సరిచేసుకునేందుకు పట్టణ స్థాయిలో గెజిటెడ్‌ అధికారి ఇచ్చిన ధ్రువీకరణ పత్రం సరిపోతుంది. గ్రామస్థాయిలో గ్రామ రెవెన్యూ అధికారి, ఎవరైనా గెజిటెడ్‌ అధికారి ఇచ్చిన ధ్రువీకరణ పత్రం ఉండాలి. పుట్టిన తేదీని మార్చుకునేందుకుగాను సంబంధిత సర్టిఫికెట్‌, పదో తరగతి పత్రం, గెజిటెడ్‌ అధికారి ఇచ్చిన జనన ధ్రువీకరణ పత్రం.. ఇందులో ఏదో ఒక పత్రం అవసరం. ఆధార్‌ కేంద్రానికి వెళ్లి అర్జీ రాసి బయోమెట్రిక్‌ విధానంతో ఈ వివరాలను నమోదు చేసుకోవాలి. వివరాలన్నీ పరిశీలించిన తర్వాత నిర్ణీత గడువు కాలంలోగా సంబంధిత చిరునామాకు మార్పు చేస్తే ఆధార్‌ కార్డు పోస్టు ద్వారా వస్తుంది.

ఆధార్‌లో చిరునామా, తండ్రి, భర్త వివరాల్లో మార్పులు, చేర్పుల కోసం ఇక ఆధార్‌ కేంద్రానికి వెళ్లకుండా సొంతంగా చేసుకునే వెసులుబాటును భారత ప్రభుత్వం కల్పించింది. వ్యక్తిగత వివరాలు సవరణ చేసుకోదలచినవారు తమ ఆధార్‌కు ఫోన్‌ నంబరు లేదా మెయిల్‌ ఐడీ అనుసంధానం అయి ఉంటేనే సాధ్యపడుతుంది. ఈ మార్పులకు కూడా ప్రభుత్వం సూచించిన ఫొటో గుర్తింపుతో గల చిరునామా ధ్రువపత్రాల్లో ఏదో ఒకటి తప్పనిసరి. అంతర్జాలం ద్వారా మార్పు చేసుకునేవారు ఇలా చేయొచ్ఛు

ఎలా చేసుకోవాలంటే..

1. https://uidai.gov.in లింక్‌ను వెబ్‌ పేజీలో నమోదు చేయడం ద్వారా యూఐడీఏఐ పేజీ తెరుచుకుంటుంది. తొలుత మై ఆధార్‌పై మౌస్‌ను ఉంచితే మరో మెనూ బార్‌ తెరుచుకుంటుంది.
2. అందులో అప్‌డేట్‌ యువర్‌ ఆధార్‌లో అప్‌డేట్‌ చిరునామాపై క్లిక్‌ చేస్తే మరో పేజీ ఓపన్‌ అవుతుంది. అందులో అప్‌డేట్‌ యువర్‌ అడ్రస్‌ వద్ద క్లిక్‌ చేస్తే ప్రొసీడ్‌ టు అప్‌డేట్‌ అడ్రస్‌ అని వస్తుంది. తర్వాత వచ్చే పేజీలో 12 అంకెల ఆధార్‌ నంబరును నమోదు చేసి సూచించిన వెరిఫికేషన్‌ కోడ్‌ను నమోదు చేయాలి.
3. సెండ్‌ ఓటీపీపై క్లిక్‌ చేస్తే గతంలో ఆధార్‌తో లింకైన ఫోన్‌ నంబరుకు ఓటీపీ వస్తుంది. ఓటీపీని నమోదు చేసి నెక్ట్స్‌ బటన్‌పై క్లిక్‌ చేస్తే మరో పేజీలో అప్‌డేట్‌ అడ్రస్‌ వయా అడ్రస్‌ ప్రూఫ్‌ ఆప్షన్‌ వస్తుంది.
4.  దానిపై క్లిక్‌ చేస్తే గతంలో ఆధార్‌ కార్డులో ఉన్న చిరునామా వివరాలు ఉంటాయి.
5. దాని కింద మార్చాల్సిన చిరునామా వివరాలు నమోదు చేసి ప్రీవ్యూపై క్లిక్‌ చేయాలి.
6. మనం నమోదు చేసిన వివరాలు సరిగా ఉన్నాయా లేదా అని ఈ పేజీలో చూసుకోవచ్ఛు వివరాలన్నీ సక్రమంగా ఉంటే కింద ఇచ్చిన బాక్స్‌పై క్లిక్‌ చేస్తే టిక్‌ మార్కు వస్తుంది.
7.  అనంతరం సబ్‌మిట్‌ బటన్‌ క్లిక్‌ చేయాలి. అప్‌లోడ్‌ ఎ కాపీ ఆఫ్‌ వ్యాలిడ్‌ అడ్రస్‌ ప్రూఫ్‌ అని అడుగుతుంది.
8. అందులో మనం ఏరకమైన ప్రూఫ్‌ అప్‌లోడ్‌ చేస్తున్నామో దానిని ఎంచుకుని అప్‌లోడ్‌ డాక్యుమెంట్‌పై క్లిక్‌ చేయాలి.
9. అందులో స్కాన్‌ చేసిన ప్రూఫ్‌ను అప్‌లోడ్‌ చేసి సబ్‌మిట్‌ చేస్తే, రిసిప్ట్‌ వస్తుంది. నమోదు చేసినట్లు ఫోన్‌కు సందేశం వస్తుంది.
10.  వివరాలన్నీ సక్రమంగా ఉంటే సూచించిన గడువులోగా కొత్త కార్డు పోస్టు ద్వారా ఇంటికి వస్తుంది. యూఐడీఏఐ వెబ్‌సైట్‌ ద్వారా కూడా ఆధార్‌ పొందవచ్ఛు.
11.  చిరునామా ప్రూఫ్‌ కోసం కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం సుమారు 45 రకాల అంశాలను నిర్దేశించింది.
12. వీటిల్లో ఏదైనా ఒకటి సబ్‌మిట్‌ చేయాలి.
13. ఇలా ఆధార్‌ కేంద్రాల చుట్టూ తిరగాల్సిన అవసరం లేకుండా చిరునామాలో మార్పులు, చేర్పులు చేసుకోవచ్ఛు.
