RRB’s had released the provisional scores for the candidates on March 23, 2019. Objections were received and the final scores along with the status for next round have now been released on the regional websites. The qualifying cut off for RRB ALP CBT 2 exam is 35. The railway recruitment board (RRB) has declared the results for ALP technician 2nd computer based test (CBT) on its official websites. The exam was conducted on January 21, 22, 23 and February 8, 2019. Qualified candidates will have to appear for aptitude test. Candidates can now view their individual scores and their shortlisting status for Computer Based Aptitude Test by logging in through the link provided on the official website of RRBs. They will have to key in their registration number and date of birth. This facility will be available only up to April 16.
“Total number of candidates shortlisted for appearing in Computer Based Aptitude test is eight times the Revised Vacancy notified on the official websites of RRBs on 20-09-2018 for ALP from among the candidates who have opted for the post of ALP and secured minimum qualifying normalised marks of 35 in Part B and as per their merit in Part A and reservation category subject to securing minimum qualifying marks for the respective community,” the official notice reads.

Indian Railways has declared the exam dates for Assistant Loco Pilot and Technician recruitment. Respective railway recruitment boards (RRBs) will release the admit cards next week. The first stage of the computer based test (CBT) will begin on August 9, 2018 for the posts advertised under CEN 01/ 2018. The mock link for the CBT will be available tomorrow (July 26, 2018). RRBs To Release ALP, Technician Admit Card Next Week/ RRB Recruitment 2018 Exam Pattern, Mark Scheme For ALP, Technician Exam Released:
The CBT will be of 60 minutes and will carry a total of 75 questions. The questions will be from Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Science, and General awareness on current affairs. Advertised in February, this recruitment drive was open for candidates who have passed class 10th and ITI or diploma in engineering or a graduation in engineering. Two separate notifications, CEN 01/2018 and CEN 02/2018, were released by the RRBs for recruitment to 90,000 Assistant Loco Pilot, Technician and Group D posts. As per the latest data given by the Ministry of Railways, for a single seat, one candidate shall have to compete with 279 other candidates. More than 25 million people have applied for the posts.
Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the section-wise marks distribution for the first stage computer based test for the recruitment of ALP and Technician. The exam will begin on August 9, 2018. The test will comprise 4 sections and will be of one hour duration. The total number of questions in the test will be 75. The four sections in the question paper will be Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Science, and General Awareness and Current Affairs.
There will be 20 questions in mathematics section, 25 questions in General Intelligence and Reasoning, 20 questions in General Science, and 10 questions in the General Awareness and Current Affairs section. The official notification released by RRB however also mentions that the section-wise distribution is only indicative in nature and there might be some variations in the actual question paper. RRB is also expected to release mock test link today on its official website and regional RRB websites. The mock test would help candidates to understand the exam pattern and modalities of the exam in a better manner. RRB will also release the exam city, date and session for the registered candidates soon and will release the respective admit cards 4 days before the exam.
Railway Recruitment Board has released the exam city, date and session details for the candidates who have applied for the recruitment process of ALP and Technicians post with the Indian Railways. Candidates can access the same from the Regional RRB website to which they have applied for recruitment. RRB has only released the exam city and exam day details and the exam centre address will be released with the admit card only. RRB ALP Admit Card 2018 for Second Stage CBT
On the basis of marks obtained in first stage CBT, candidates will be shortlisted for second stage CBT. Number of candidates that will be qualified will be a total of 15 times the number of vacancies which is 397530. Qualified candidates will get RRB ALP Admit Card 2018 for Second Stage CBT.
RRB ALP Admit Card 2018 for Second Stage CBT will only be available on respective RRB website. Candidates should therefore first visit respective RRB websites to check result of RRB ALP 2018, and then visit same website to download RRB ALP Admit Card 2018 for Second Stage CBT.

RRB ALP Admit Card 2018 for Computer Based Aptitude Test
Computer based aptitude test will only be held for ALP (Assistant Loco Pilot). The number of candidates who will be qualified for AT, based on their performance in Part A of second stage CBT subject to qualifying Part B of second stage CBT, will be 8 times the number of vacancies of Assistant Loco Pilot. Qualified candidates of ALP will get RRB ALP Admit Card 2018 for Computer Based Aptitude Test.
RRB ALP Admit Card 2018 for Computer Based Aptitude Test will also be issued on respective Railway Recruitment Board website.
Candidates must download RRB ALP Admit Card 2018 for Computer Based Aptitude Test and appear for AT at assigned centres.

Changes Made in CEN 01/2018 for recruitment of 26, 502 ALP, Technician posts in Indian Railways
1. Last date of online application for ALP and Technician posts revised from March 5, 2018, to March 31, 2018.
2. Age Limit for applying for the said posts has been extended. The new age limit for CEN 01/2018 recruitment examination now stands from 18 – 30 years. Accordingly, the new upper age limit for various categories are summed below along with the cut off date of birth.

Qualification: Matriculation/ SSLC. Or 10+2 with Physics and Maths.
Selection: Based on Common Computer Based Test (CBT), Aptitude Test and Document Verification.
Eligibility for RRB ALP, Technicians 2018:
Candidates who have completed their matriculation or equivalent examination along with ITI diplomas in engineering are eligible to apply for the posts. The age limit for the recruitment is 18-28 years of age as on July 1, 2018. Please note, the extensions of up to 5 years to reserved categories as per Government of India law are applicable. Selection Process for Railway Recruitment Board ALP posts:
Candidates would have to appear for a common Computer Based Test for both ALP and Technician posts. The Ist Stage CBT is tentatively scheduled for the month of April/ May. Candidates who qualify and have applied for ALP would be called for the Second Stage CBT examination. The details of the examination would be notified in due course of time.
