TELANGANA STATE LEVEL POLICE RECRUITMENT BOARD DGP OFFICE COMPLEX, LAKDI-KA-PUL, HYDERABAD. Rc No. 48 / Rect. / Admn.1 / 2022 Date: 28th April 2022
The Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board (TSLPRB) invites Applications through ONLINE mode only in the prescribed proforma which will be made available on Website (www.tslprb.in) from 2ndMay 2022 to 20th May 2022 for recruitment to the following Post.

Eligibility Conditions/ Eligibility for examination

Eligibility by Gender: Men and Women are eligible for the Post Code No. 43.

 Age Limit (General):

i) Must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 22 years as on 1st July, 2022 i.e., must have been born not earlier than 2nd July, 2000 and not later than 1st July, 2004. However, the Government of Telangana vide GO Ms No. 48, General Administration (Services-A) Department dated 13-04-2022 have raised the upper age limit prescribed for direct recruitment by 3 (threeyears) for uniformed services including Excise Department. This relaxation is in addition to the upper age limit as mentioned above.

ii) In the case of a Widow, a Divorced Woman or a Woman judicially separated from her husband and who is not remarried, 

a) SC & ST Candidates must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 40 years as on 1st July, 2022 i.e., she must have been born not earlier than 2nd July, 1982 and not later than 1st July,2004. However, the Government of Telangana vide GO Ms No. 48, General Administration (Services-A) Department dated 13-04-2022 have raised the upper age limit prescribed for direct recruitment by 3 (three years)for uniformed services including Excise Department. This relaxation is in addition to the upper age limit as mentioned above.

b) In all other cases (other than SC & ST), the Candidate must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 35 years as on 1st July, 2022 i.e., she must have been born not earlier than 2nd July, 1987 and not later than 1st July, 2004. However, the Government of Telangana vide GO Ms No. 48, General Administration (Services-A) Department dated 13-04-2022 have raised the upper age limit prescribed for direct recruitment by

3 (three years) for uniformed services including Excise Departments. This relaxation is in addition to the upper age limit as mentioned above.

Relaxation in Upper Age Limit: The Upper age limit prescribed above is however relaxable as per govt orders as mentioned in detailed notification. 

• Consequent to further raise of Upper Age limit by 2 years by the Government of Telangana, the last date for receipt of Applications is extended till 26th May 2022 (till 10 pm) 
• The Government of Telangana vide G O Ms No. 60, General Administration (Services-A) Department dated 20-05-2022 have raised the upper age limit prescribed for Direct Recruitment by further 2 (two years) in addition to the raise of 3 (three) years issued in G O Ms No. 48, General Administration (Services-A) Department dated 13-04-2022 for uniformed services including Police, Fire Services, Prisons, Special Protection Force, Transport and Prohibition & Excise Departments.

Educational Qualification:

Must have passed Intermediate or its equivalent examination recognized by the State Government as on 1st July 2022. Provided that, Intermediate Pass Certificate cum Memorandum of Marks or any equivalent pass Certificate which proves the qualification shall be made available by the Candidate at the time of certificate verification to prove his / her qualification on or before 1st July 2022.

SELECTION PROCEDURE / SCHEME

The Selection Procedure / Scheme of the Examination will be as follows —
A) Preliminary Written Test (PWT): All the eligible registered Candidates shall be required to appear for the Preliminary Written Test in one paper (three hours duration) for 200 marks (200 Questions). Hall Ticket will be issued Online for this purpose. Syllabus for the PWT is given at Annexure – I.

Note: 1) The minimum marks to be secured by the Candidates in order to qualify in the Preliminary Written Test paper is 30% for all categories i.e., OCs / BCs / SCs / STs / Ex. Servicemen

B) Physical Efficiency Test and Physical Measurements  

i) 1600 meters / 800 meters Run Event:
ii. Physical Measurements
iii. Long Jump / Shot-put Events

C) Final Written Examination (FWE): Candidates who qualify in the above Physical Efficiency Test shall be required to appear for the Final Written Examination for 1(one) paper of 3 (three) hours duration for 200 marks (200 questions). The syllabus is given in Annexure II.

Application FEE: 

OC and BC Candidates with local status of Telangana State applying for the Post of Prohibition & Excise Constable in Excise Department have to pay a fee of Rs. 800/- towards Registration of the Application, Processing of Application, Conduct of Tests and Examinations, Maintenance of Portal etc. However, SC and ST Candidates who are Local to Telangana State have to pay only Rs.400/- towards the same. All other Candidates will have to pay Rs.800/-.

How to apply Online

I Step: Candidate has to register himself / herself on the TSLPRB Website – www.tslprb.in by making his / her Mobile Number as his / her User ID and then choose the Notifications and Posts that he / she would like to apply for. The fee payable will be determined based on the Posts he / she applies for. Candidates are advised to provide such Mobile Number as their Login ID which will be in currency throughout the process of recruitment and will be in their personal custody. It shall be their responsibility to ensure that this number is maintained continuously without any interruption throughout the process of recruitment, so that there will not any loss of communication between the Board and the Candidates.

II Step: This fee can be paid by using Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking or any other mode made available on the TSLPRB Website.

III Step: After making the Payment, Candidate has to visit the website www.tslprb.into submit the Online Application Form which is in 2 parts i.e., Part I and Part II. Part I Application has to be submitted initially along with a scanned copy of Passport Size Photo + specimen Signature combined as one file / image in jpg/jpeg format. Even after making payment of fee, if the Candidate fails to press submit button and the Application is not uploaded, such applications shall be rejected without giving any notice and fee once paid will not be refunded in any case.

IV Step: Candidates who are declared qualified in Preliminary Written Test have to visit the website www.tslprb.inagain for uploading the Part-II Application along with the scanned copies of Certificates / Documents.
